He used to ask my father for a cigarette (Taryton 100s), and dad would give him the pack... Bontz Posted April 10, 2021 Share Posted April 10, 2021 Those were the good days of the NBA .... the 80's and 90's were fun to watch because of the utter hatred teams had for one another. The Celtics, Lakers, Pistons, Bulls, etc. were great postseason matchups! The NBA, now, is by far the most disgusting of pro sports and it all started with LeBron and his move to the Heat. Once they turned into a league where physical defense is frowned upon, and allowing these players to demand teams be built for them ... zero interest here. They called a foul on Smart, said he hit the guy in the head, replay showed the shooter's hair hit Smart's arm. Hell, the look on the St. Looey bench said it all...they were like, "WTF are these guys doing?" It was an absolutely awful display from one end to the other. I don't even know how that can be fixed.
