teamgreen02
Anyone catch the part today where George Floyd's girlfriend testified they were taking street drugs around this time? She told the FBI some of this sketchy shit they were taking made her feel like she was going to die. It will be interesting when the medical examiners take the stand and testify. There is no evidence of asphyxiation but lots for high levels of meth and fentanyl, as well as lungs completely filled with fluid. The fentanyl dose itself was a lethal amount. The prosecution will never prove beyond a reasonable doubt and have all 12 jurors agree that Chauvin murdered Floyd. Some of the lesser charges could stick. Could turn the jury against the prosecution they gave the jury an easy out with a manslaughter charge. No question he's a shit brick who should do some jail time. Jerry 976
What happens when the time comes and they happen to come back with a hung jury??? How and where would they be able to have a retrial of this case??

You think expert witnesses are going to take the time to help build a case, travel across the country for trial, and testify for free? They won't for the same reasons the lawyers, judge, and bailiffs won't work for free.

Bare minimum the jury has the right to know if they are paid above and beyond expenses. Edited April 2, 2021 by Highmark
fortune46x
When his own friend wont testify , and ran to texas where he had to be apprehended - that tells a hell of a story there. Cops roll up , GF swallows the fentanyl he was most likely trying to sell (he was a known drug dealer mind you), overdoses, dies - thats what the toxicology report says to me. DC was not in the right doing what he did - but it was not the reason for GF's death and the medical examiner proved that.
Zambroski
The guy was a typical moron. The tape tells the tale though. He was murdered. Now, society should maybe thank the cops for that...and maybe they will with a NG vote but, this is a ridiculous argument of whether or not the cop(s) should be found guilty or not. It's pretty fucking clear what happened. Floyd is a society parasite and complete loser that was murdered by overzealous, overbearing cops. Are we going to call this a "wash"? We learned earlier in the week there were pills found in the car with Floyd's saliva on them. Not sure what exactly was in those pills, might learn that later.
