ckf Posted November 14, 2020 Share Posted November 14, 2020 I spent about an hour 3 or 4 weeks ago deleting old attachments one page at a time. It made very little difference. Within a few weeks we were right back where we started. Long story short we need we an upgrade. We were on an older plan so there are some major advantages to the upgrade. We went from 3.5g ram to 6g of ram. We also went from a HDD to a SSD hard drive with 50% more space. These upgrades should make a big difference in performance. In all honesty, John, just logging in here I now, I don't notice anything different? I am going to try putting the archived posts back in circulation for search. With the faster server it should be able to handle the extra load. I don't spend the extra $50 a year for an SSL certificate. Years ago you only got one for eCommerce, now just about all sites have one.
