On Wednesday, writing for The Wall Street Journal, Republican mega-strategist Karl Rove laid down the truth for President Donald Trump — he cannot overturn the results of the election, and he should honor democracy and American tradition by handing the reins of power to President-elect Joe Biden. 

“Mr. Trump is now pursuing legal challenges in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona and Nevada, and there will be an automatic recount in Georgia, given Mr. Biden’s 0.29-point lead there,” wrote Rove. “Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is correct that Mr. Trump is “100% within his rights” to go to court over concerns about fraud and transparency. But the president’s efforts are unlikely to move a single state from Mr. Biden’s column, and certainly they’re not enough to change the final outcome.” 

“There are only three statewide contests in the past half-century in which recounts changed the outcome: the 1974 New Hampshire Senate race, the 2004 Washington governor’s contest, and the 2008 Minnesota Senate election,” wrote Rove. “The candidates in these races were separated, respectively, by 355, 261 and 215 votes after Election Day. These margins aren’t much like today’s. Mr. Biden led Wednesday in Wisconsin by 20,540 votes, Pennsylvania by 49,064, Michigan by 146,123, Arizona by 12,614, Nevada by 36,870 and Georgia by 14,108.” 

Given that Trump faces an insurmountable defeat, Rove continued, he should work to heal the country and accept the transition of power.

Let's be clear this election because of COVID had some changes unlike anything we've ever seen.   Giving the same scrutiny to mail in ballots as in person votes is a constitutional requirement that the SC voted 7-2 in 2000.   This is where the real challenge is and needs to be addressed not just for this election but future ones.   When we come a society that doesn't verify certain things regarding votes in an election fraud will take over.

I agree there are some fucked up circumstances but there is not much that can be done about it now. However if you truly believe that there was mass voter fraud on a national scale then you have to accept that establishment republicans had to be complicit in it. Because it couldnt happen if they werent.

It must be dealt with now and yes it still can be.

Ask yourself couple things.

1. Where was the voter fraud on a significant scale likely to occur?   In person voting or mail in ballots?   In person voting whether there was verification of the voter or not you vote and put the ballot into the machine yourself.   At least here you do.  When the green light goes off I know my vote is counted.   If it gets a red light I get a new ballot to ensure its filled out right.   Mail voting in you got a bunch of "volunteers" that make judgements on signatures and this year significant extensions on vote deadlines that were not always approved by the state legislatures.   When you let poll workers opinion play in it creates a system ripe for fraud.  

2. Who dominated both types of voting?   Trump in person.....Biden mail in.   The discrepancies there alone are a statistical anomaly.

More polls.  Our elections are not decided by networks or polls.  

Yes.   In most states they are suppose to be received then have a signature and address verified by computer or poll worker.   Poll workers deciding what ballots are valid or not makes it ripe for fraud.  Its common knowledge that the voter rolls in this country have millions and millions of errors in them.   One guy showed getting 5 different ballots none of which were for him.

Dude, I give Trump about a 5% chance of winning at this point but considering everything and the closeness of races its only right that they be looked into.   Honestly I'd be saying the same thing if the results were reversed.   American's have the right to know the elections are as honest as possible. 

If one state can swing an election and I'm not talking about just fraudulently that means 60 million + other people who voted for Biden or Trump were disenfranchised.

If there were enough absentee votes counted in Pennsylvania to change the outcome that were received after the polls closed on election night, that will definitely end up at the Supreme Court.

They already decided on allowing counting of absentee votes till the Friday after Election Day as long as they were postmarked no later than nov. 3
