They say third party groups often use mailing lists to get names and addresses. They released a statement saying: "Third-party groups all over the country are targeting Georgia to help register qualified individuals. Probably from some pro Trump group like LaRouchePAC in an effort to sow doubt in the integrity of the mail in voting system. Cat’s signature never would have matched records anyway. No it's insane you think it will, states have been voting by mail for decades. Like it or not and you obviously don't, study after study and court case after court case has proven voter fraud is an extremely low number. You don't even know if the county mailed the ballot to the cat or not, likely not. There is a judge and multiple people count ballots, in addition each candidate can have a watcher, just like when you go to a polling station once you are given a ballot your name is checked off, when John Doe's ballot is received he is checked off if another ballot same name same address comes in it is set aside and dealt with, if a voter mails in a ballot then goes to a polling place he is given a provisional ballot, the first ballot is set aside and the provisional ballot will be counted, but usually days later. Because in some places people have to stand inline for 6 to 8 hours, that is reason enough. An absentee ballot is a mail in ballot, and for most states it was applications that were sent out not ballots.
