AP’s President and CEO Gary Pruitt said the records collected could “reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the newsgathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period, provide a road map to AP’s newsgathering operations and disclose information about AP’s activities and operations that the government has no conceivable right to know.”

Turns out, Pruitt should have been even more outraged. The new report, obtained by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University and the Freedom of the Press Foundation, finds that the DOJ actually collected records on 30 phones.

It is pretty much the same wherever you go.

I still remember driving a lot of truck after Trump's election and NPR had this "We will not be divided" call in show going on.  It wasn't on before the election, I can damn well tell you that.  

It was a show to "unite" the public, but it was really just a bunch of progressives who couldn't handle life and would call in on the edge or while having a mental breakdown, the entire show. 

That lot needed a physic exam.  I'd imagine a few here were frequent contributors.

I really wonder what ever happened to balance, or a fair debate.....its gone out the window with the left.  At least Trump understands what he's up against.  I said 5 years ago it was pretty clear that the Democrats had  ZERO interest in bi partisan ship, or finding common ground.  ZERO.  And that's more clear today than ever.  Its come down to a movement concentrated in 3a couple urban areas across the country, trying to dominate the rest of the country with their progressive bullshit.  Much of the media have become complete sellouts.
