Bolton claims Trump called for 'scumbag' journalists to be 'executed' Source: The Hill Former White House national security adviser John Bolton reportedly claims in his forthcoming memoir that President Trump called for “scumbag” journalists to be executed. Bolton said that Trump made the comments during a meeting last summer in New Jersey, according to a copy of Bolton's book obtained by The Washington Post. During the meeting, Trump said that journalists should be jailed so they would have to expose their sources, Bolton wrote. “These people should be executed. He makes too much sense pointing out their hypocritical bullshit and it makes them angry. Can’t stomach Hannity much anymore. I agree with a lot of his politics but he just sounds like a campaign commercial and he is the conservative equivalent to Rachel Mad-cow. Just not as paranoid.
