Only 84 months if you want the "0 percent" financing.  Guess the peasants like you and I will need to keep driving our old beater trucks.

Yeah......Leave it to the high financiers to keep frontin' the big stuff.  :lmao:

Joe Neckbone buys sweet ass new $65k truck. because of an easy credit, excellent financing rate...for 8 years.  Sells it in 3 for half buying price after paying $5-6k in interest.  This is called "using the banks money".

I'd like to present into evidence exhibit A and B.  Both totally gut hooked in their purchase by "free" financing.  I wonder what life is like when you need to take out financing on a washing machine or some lumber at Home Depot.

If they are offereing 0% take it. No sense using your money when you can use someone elses for nothing.

I need reliable transportation. If they’re offering either huge discounts or cheap money I’ll take it either way when I need a vehicle

I appreciate the dedication to your position but you forgot the safety excuse.  Rookie mistake, don't let it happen again.

if the option is 0% or a large manufacturer's rebate you are always way better off taking the rebate.

Maybe. I have the GM card and have bought about 7 vehicles now with serious point discounts over the years. the last car I bought was a 2018. After I negotiated the price I hit them with the points. $11,000 off of the negotiated price. Ill take the 0% thank you!

I did that back in 2010.. piled on as many programs we we could and ended up getting a new truck for under 20 grand before taxes

Passed the local GM dealer to-day. A whopping 23K off pasted in lime green on the passenger door. Great deals coming soon at a dealer near you.

I did that.  The rebate was over double to cost to borrow

Cash isn’t king on most dealer floors anymore.  The only way to avoid Financing rates, built in or added on, is to let some bloke eat it before you buy it (buy used).

Sheep Shit’s hipster ass nailed it....the best trucks have the title in the glove box with the smiling owner knowing he’s that much closer to sliding his way into an early retirement.

a big rebates better,  i can get 2-3 financing at the CU,  i'm taking 3-4-5k in rebates over that.  that said no more new cars for me,  leases with big subsidies for the wife so i don't have to deal with her whining after 2 years about getting something new.

Was looking at ATVs this spring. Sales guy ask how I was paying. Told him whatever gives me the best deal.  Same deal either way but they preferred I finance. Told him I'll write a check.

wrong. Ford restructured, took a federally backed loan and paid it back in full.

Whereas gm cleares their debt and allowed to buy the stock back. :flush:
