It doesnt matter....you cant load a motor on a stand. Put a turbo sled on a stand and try to get it to build boost. It's not happening. Without loading the motor you arent making heat. You need heat and cylinder pressure as mentioned to break in an engine

Would it really take 5 hours of run-time to get the ecu past break-in mode?  Forget actual motor break-in, how long just for the ecu?

They're all different now. The doo 850 takes longer than 5hr. I believe it's based off fuel flow and probably calculated off injector pulse.

Then why bother reading into any of this nonsense?  Everybody buy what they like the looks of, and hope the performance  impresses them after about 300 miles on the fucking thing.
