But ftr,, I am self made and an entrepreneur. My mother’s 85 years old and my dads been gone for 10 years, and none of your fucking business regarding your question. Likewise, you wouldn’t know a thing about me if I hadn’t publicly disclosed it. So by all means twist it into some ass backwards narrative that only makes sense in your effeminate hate filled head.

I still own a alumacraft perfect boat it can sit on the lift all summer if some one wants to use it you just dont care at all and it costs shit in fuel and maint biggest pain is the pulling it out and covering it up in the fall to put under a tree . pretty sure it is going to cost me a battery this year seeing as it sounded like to much work to pull it out lol I did let the lower unit oil dump out on a old stump though
motonoggin
I wouldn't own one either if we didn't have an awesome marina and a quiet little sandbar to hang out on.

Utility and relaxation. Neither will be nice enough for me to care too much about. They will become anchors before money pits.

Hard to believe but damn fine boats and can take a god damn beating. I had a little 12 as a kid then had an 16 when I got a bit older. Loved them both. I’ll grab another. Prolly a 16 or 18 with a little center console.
Guest
Boats are the greatest fukken things. Being out there on a great afternoon is terrific. However, in many cases the problems associated with boat ownership sometimes overwhelms the fun factor. I have a small boat now, that I haven't used in TWO YEARS!!! Two fukken years!! I won't get a bigger one until I am SURE AS HELL that I will get enough use out of it.

Without question there is much more to boating than the boat itself. My marina is awesome. My slip overlooks the awesome bar that has live music 3-4 times a week. Our boat never left the slip last summer. Edited March 18, 2019 by Highmark
