So according to the link it is pretty shitty oil....  Its put on roofs and highways.  At what $26 a barrel for oil for roofs and road.  Wonder if canada is losing money on pumping shit oil for $26 a barrel

My question is sort of related to the topic:

Why are gas prices high and getting higher? I have not read about any fires at refineries or any shortages of supplies, so why are gas prices up approximately 30% from where they were not too long ago?

The media thought it might affect prices but the explosion was in the diesel refining area so should be no affect on gasoline prices.

almost all the gas or diesel sold in maine came from irving. i know they said it would have no effect but it went up .20 a gal rite after the fire

That's what I heard, Irving provides for most of the north-east. I can see diesel going up but gas, gouging.
