I saw this... wtf is going on over there?? More laws more laws, more regulations, but fuck the Constitution and disrespect to the government. No wonder people are leaving in droves, and the northern part of the state wants to break away from the nonsense...

:bashhead:

Politicaly CA is a lot like Maine.

I hope not. How do you figure? Honest question.

With the exception of the big cities, rural Maine is wood booger, podunk, backwoods, uncle Bob moonshine greatness.

I may have just answered my own question... :suicide:

But feel free to elaborate further! :usflag:

Both states

The majority of the people live in the south.

The south is blue while the north has a red majority

The people in the south want to tell those in the north how they should be living.

How many regulations are new homes already required to meet?

Youre a regressive Repug - you see solar and immediately criticize it.

I like solar. I don't like people telling other people what they have to buy. I also don't like industry lobbying the legislature to write law saying everyone must buy their product. Unless of course its a product I'm selling.

It's the idea of letting people have a choice you idiot, instead of being forced. $19,000 savings in 30 years..........whoopee, more than likely the cost to maintain those systems will exceed the savings, fuck California.

Solar is awesome!! :finger:

The technology is just now getting to a reasonable alternative. Still needs some work to make it affordable/realistic/eco friendly...

And yes, I've been waiting for the opportunity to use this :poke:

Correct and I don't like that either. Everyone has a right to lobby including me. That dosnt mean I have to like it. Except when it benefits me.

Did you know they have electricity shortage issues there? Solar water heaters have been a requirement there for years now.

That's terrible! They should install a hydroelectric dam or something!!

You should go work as a civil engineer or consultant there. You have so many answers that you could be a great asset. Consultant maybe? Bravo. :bc:

You know that meme is a lie right?

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/lithium-mine-oil-sands/    I'll make it easy for you to realize that the meme you "have been waiting to use" is propaganda that you were dumb enough to fall for.

You know from the oil industry that has more subsidies than almost any other industry.

Cali will work with solar... it’s area dependent. If it were viable and a money saving venture they wouldn’t have to mandate it though.

So seatbelts dont save lives?

One only has to understand that California has an electric shortage caused precisely by the type of regulations like this.
