this was all covered many months ago. as usual, the ill-informed, weak minded, short memory dipshits fall for yet another "conspiracy". :lmao:

Just saw an article running today in the WSJ.  You don't have any problems with a $400 million airlift of cash to Iran?

Senior U.S. officials denied any link between the payment and the prisoner exchange. They say the way the various strands came together simultaneously was coincidental, not the result of any quid pro quo.

...

But U.S. officials also acknowledge that Iranian negotiators on the prisoner exchange said they wanted the cash to show they had gained something tangible.

look at the date...

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/17/politics/us-pays-iran-1-7-billion/

"The U.S. State Department announced the government had agreed to pay Iran $1.7 billion to settle a case related to the sale of military equipment prior to the Iranian revolution, according to a statement issued on Sunday.
Iran had set up a $400 million trust fund for such purchases, which was frozen along with diplomatic relations in 1979. In settling the claim, which had been tied up at the Hague Tribunal since 1981, the U.S. is returning the money in the fund along with "a roughly $1.3 billion compromise on the interest," the statement said."

Are we going to pay the interest as well?

Idk, when you hold someone's money against their will and really no authority to do so for many years do you think you should be responsible for lost earnings?

They could not give them us cash so you tell me wtf they did?

Due to the sanctions the US doesn't allow or have a banking system with Iran.

The same reason that was explained last January when this took place.

This was clearly a ransom payment.if it wasn't it wouldn't have gone on an unmarked plane and it wouldn't have gone unreported.

The partisan politics continue with the usual suspects giving the Obama administration a free pass
