I can't believe how upset it makes him when someone references " both sides are the same", which no one in this thread had even mentioned until he himself pulled it out of his own ass and laid it on the table for everyone to look at and marvel.

Truth be known, no one really gives a flying fuck what he believes, so by now you'd think he wouldn't bother wasting his time.:lol:But no.

"However, that statistic is somewhat misleading, as a significant portion of it was due to a change in the way “deportations” are defined that began during the Bush administration, not in the actual number of persons turned out of the U.S. As the Los Angeles Times noted, if not for that change in definition about what constitutes a “deportation,” the Obama administration likely would not have been a record-setting one in this area:

The number of people deported at or near the [U.S.-Mexico] border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency’s deportation statistics.

The vast majority of those border crossers would not have been treated as formal deportations under most previous administrations. If all removals were tallied, the total sent back to Mexico each year would have been far higher under those previous administrations than it is now.

Until recent years, most people caught illegally crossing the southern border were simply bused back into Mexico in what officials called “voluntary returns,” but which critics derisively termed “catch and release.” Those removals, which during the 1990s reached more 1 million a year, were not counted in Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s deportation statistics.

Now, the vast majority of border crossers who are apprehended get fingerprinted and formally deported. The change began during the George W. Bush administration and accelerated under Obama. The policy stemmed in part from a desire to ensure that people who had crossed into the country illegally would have formal charges on their records."

Democrats: See?!? Obama made sure that they all got criminal records for seeking a better future!!! This is better!!!!!.!

Nah, he just threw a bone to placate his base after they flipped out over his shitty immigration meeting yesterday where he came out in favour of a new DACA deal.

Fine hotshot.  Bone?  He took their dicks and slammed it with a 48 oz. sledgehammer.  You guys laugh about his tactics and posturing.  You don't think this isn't on purpose?

shit hole country was not all that was said . with people with nothing to contribute or willingness to assimilate . is he wrong ?

no of course he's not wrong.  But our country has become so politically correct, so fucking demasculinized, so devoid of reality, that asking a simple question based on reality is now somehow bigoted or racist.  I've yet to hear an answer yet from the left that wasn't either a deflection or just dead ass wrong.

What’s trump gonna say to her?

Love, a Utah Republican, demanded an apology from the President.
"My parents came from one of those countries but proudly took an oath of allegiance to the United States and took on the responsibilities of everything that being a citizen comes with," Love's statement continued. "They never took a thing from our federal government. They worked hard, paid taxes, and rose from nothing to take care of and provide opportunities for their children. They taught their children to do the same. That's the American Dream. The President must apologize to both the American people and the nations he so wantonly maligned."

By the new definition, he in fact did deport more people. And made sure they ALL got criminal records.

Bush removed more from the country, I will acknowledge that. However he didn't ensure that they all got criminal records.

Do you see the difference?

It's not 'fake news', it's semantics. This is not a better policy. This doesn't in any way make Democrats 'better' on immigration. How can you not see this?

The policy was started under Bush, so the numbers from one President to the next are not comparable.

Illegal immigration isn’t “immigration” policy.  Democrats are clearly better on actual policy, at least better than Trump.  Previous Republican admins were okay.

Yes, well, "better than Trump" or "better than Republicans" is a pretty low fuckin bar, doncha think?

Congratulations to the Democrats for being slightly less fucking shitty than the Republicans. Brav fucking o.
