even with eps it'll be lighter than an estart doo, and it'll have a recoil As far as eps... It was enough of an improvement on the 4 strokes that after riding a sled with it lots of current owners upgraded. Yup, but I don't forsee them doing it without e start from the factory. (at least not till they purge the textron folks who wouldn't let you buy a factory installed G8 on non atac sleds)
  3. Today
  4. as far borrowed money, the bulk of it has gone to the US military industrial complex, has it not? will we stand with Taiwan? will we stand with South Korea? will we stand with our allies in the middle east? would we stand with Poland or other European allies? what happens when Russia, China, NK and Iran finally say fuck the United States... collectively? someone's going to have to draw a line in the sand sooner or later... which side of it will we be on? what would Ronald Raegan do?
  5. Sign the mineral deal if needed. Sign payback deals if needed. Whatever it takes to ensure the worlds authoritarians can't invade and annex other countries. Remember, China is watching intently on the wests actions. You don't have to to understand the concept of the worlds superpower being able to take care of its own house while simultaneously supporting others around the world. It's not just goodwill, it's leverage. Yesterdays broken 'America First' concept of isolationism is no different than todays. There will always be lessons learned, and I hope it's a more painful lesson for Russia. If Russia stopped fighting today, the war would be over. If Ukraine stopped fighting today, Ukraine would be over. Stark difference.
  6. Could this be the end of the China regime? Wow, they are much worse off than I even imagined. ... They may be on the verge of total collapse.
  7. Imagine if Joe stepped aside in January, that may have allowed a different candidate and outcome. I'm not sure you have the same ability to call an election at any time? If Trudeau was at the helm, this would be all but a done deal. Trump has a part to play, but far less than Trudeau stepping down. Canadians, the stupid ones believe Carney to be the change they may desire. Informed Canadians know Carney will be more of the same and worse. Unfortunately that may not be enough. There is plenty of stupid in Canada.
  8. Deephaven for one.... Said it was a grift and buying votes... ๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. Damn we got some so called conservatives that are bureaucracy lovers. What are they called again.....that's right.....Neocons.
  10. Can't stop either...... Just how much borrowed money should the world continue to spend? Not one country expected or able to help is doing this with money they aren't printing. Sorry I'm just not buying into an equivalency of Hitler and Putin. 1st Hitler wasn't being surrounded by an organization whose entire reason for existing was to contain them. 2nd NATO continued to squeeze Russia long after the were assured NATO wouldn't move further East. I really don't doubt for a second we would have reacted any other way....historically we haven't. 3rd Russia/Putin aren't know racist maniacs' talking about a master race and ruling the world. Might want to do some research on the history of the Holocaust. We knew Hitler was heading down a horrible road in 1933. Maybe its time for the world to realize they just may have played a role in this whole fucking mess and for once stop looking at it thru our own lenses and try looking at it thru theirs.
  11. Who the hell refuses free money?
  12. Yep the water is over the damn and we played a significant part in the rain or damn breaking.
  13. A guest appearance. The band is back bad together
  14. ... If Putin becomes cooperative... Then of course I will change my mind to the conditions that warrant. Otherwise I say off with their heads at this point. This seems to be the narrative that Putin is pushing for. I'm actually kind of surprised that Trump has been so patient. And I'll really be surprised and a bit disappointed if he walks away from this whole thing........ But it's possible that the majority of America does indeed want us to walk away.
  15. My Dinner With AdolfBy Larry David Imagine my surprise when in the spring of 1939 a letter arrived at my house inviting me to dinner at the Old Chancellery with the worldโ€™s most reviled man, Adolf Hitler. I had been a vocal critic of his on the radio from the beginning, pretty much predicting everything he was going to do on the road to dictatorship. No one I knew encouraged me to go. โ€œHeโ€™s Hitler. Heโ€™s a monster.โ€ But eventually I concluded that hate gets us nowhere. I knew I couldnโ€™t change his views, but we need to talk to the other side โ€” even if it has invaded and annexed other countries and committed unspeakable crimes against humanity. Two weeks later, I found myself on the front steps of the Old Chancellery and was led into an opulent living room, where a few of the Fรผhrerโ€™s most vocal supporters had gathered: Himmler, Gรถring, Leni Riefenstahl and the Duke of Windsor, formerly King Edward VIII. We talked about some of the beautiful art on the walls that had been taken from the homes of Jews. But our conversation ended abruptly when we heard loud footsteps coming down the hallway. Everyone stiffened as Hitler entered the room. He was wearing a tan suit with a swastika armband and gave me an enthusiastic greeting that caught me off guard. Frankly, it was a warmer greeting than I normally get from my parents, and it was accompanied by a slap on my back. I found the whole thing quite disarming. I joked that I was surprised to see him in a tan suit because if he wore that out, it would be perceived as un-Fรผhrer-like. That amused him to no end, and I realized Iโ€™d never seen him laugh before. Suddenly he seemed so human. Here I was, prepared to meet Hitler, the one Iโ€™d seen and heard โ€” the public Hitler. But this private Hitler was a completely different animal. And oddly enough, this one seemed more authentic, like this was the real Hitler. The whole thing had my head spinning. He said he was starving and led us into the dining room, where he gestured for me to sit next to him. Gรถring immediately grabbed a slice of pumpernickel, whereupon Hitler turned to me, gave me an eye roll, then whispered, โ€œWatch. Heโ€™ll be done with his entire meal before youโ€™ve taken two bites.โ€ That one really got me. Gรถring, with his mouth full, asked what was so funny, and Hitler said, โ€œI was just telling him about the time my dog had diarrhea in the Reichstag.โ€ Gรถring remembered. How could he forget? He loved that story, especially the part where Hitler shot the dog before it got back into the car. Then a beaming Hitler said, โ€œHey, if I can kill Jews, Gypsies and homosexuals, I can certainly kill a dog!โ€ That perhaps got the biggest laugh of the night โ€” and believe me, there were plenty. But it wasnโ€™t just a one-way street, with the Fรผhrer dominating the conversation. He was quite inquisitive and asked me a lot of questions about myself. I told him I had just gone through a brutal breakup with my girlfriend because every time I went someplace without her, she was always insistent that I tell her everything I talked about. I canโ€™t stand having to remember every detail of every conversation. Hitler said he could relate โ€” he hated that, too. โ€œWhat am I, a secretary?โ€ He advised me it was best not to have any more contact with her or else Iโ€™d be right back where I started and eventually Iโ€™d have to go through the whole thing all over again. I said it must be easy for a dictator to go through a breakup. He said, โ€œYouโ€™d be surprised. There are still feelings.โ€ Hmm โ€ฆ there are still feelings. That really resonated with me. Weโ€™re not that different, after all. I thought that if only the world could see this side of him, people might have a completely different opinion. Two hours later, the dinner was over, and the Fรผhrer escorted me to the door. โ€œI am so glad to have met you. I hope Iโ€™m no longer the monster you thought I was.โ€ โ€œI must say, mein Fรผhrer, Iโ€™m so thankful I came. Although we disagree on many issues, it doesnโ€™t mean that we have to hate each other.โ€ And with that, I gave him a Nazi salute and walked out into the night.

Wouldnโ€™t need estart Just lightweight battery.
  18. He's a moron most of the time.
  19. so he's great when you like what he's saying but wrong when you don't like what he's saying I know the feeling...
  20. If Putin wants nothing to give and everything to gain, then the rest of the world canโ€™t stop either. The America First Committee of 1940 wanted to negotiate with Hitler rather than being drawn in. Can you imagine how different our world would have been if we had cowered.
  21. lmk when you change your mind again too bad that water is over the dam, down the river and on it's way to the ocean. we can't walk back what we've done, time to move forward with a solution or just get on with global armageddon already.
  22. Getting something right for once doesn't make him right most of the time. Just like you.
  23. not in the least whoopdeedoo... you bought something. a first year model from a company that looked to be going out of business. how many more months until it's paid off? congratulations on your purchase which apparently entitles you to be the foremost authority on all things Cat btw.
  24. How bizarre to agree with what someone said , when you donโ€™t agree with everything they say. ๐Ÿ™„

that makes sense as 'feelings' seem rather important to you in one breath we celebrate light weight in the next we celebrate adding weight to the new lightweight sleds as krommy pointed out they're likely going to have to have estart due to electrical supply for the eps... so a bonus 50lbs of crap added to the sled will make it feel lighter because of a little less steering effort? illogical... but run with that
  26. Unfortunately it might be the only answer to stop the killing and spending which NO COUNTRY can afford. Ukraine was foolish when it signed the Budapest Memorandum. They should have never trusted the US, UK or Russia and kept the nukes. BTW the Budapest memorandum has no guarantee of military aid or intervention. We've already gone far beyond this. When Russia was building up troop presence on the border why didn't the UN intervene more other than feckless condemnations? Do you think its fair when the US goes in and basically causes a coup or manipulates elections? Because that is what happened in Ukraine. People screamed about supposed Russian interference in US elections yet we do it all the time all over the world post WW2. We have been the most hypocritical county on the planet. Weapons of mass destruction on our doorstep and we almost cause nuclear Armageddon..on anyone else's......well they are defensive nukes. Our sub capabilities alone can destroy any county on the planet in about 30 minutes if the subs are in the right place.

I like what I'm hearing about improved engine mounting. My 858 is definitely vibey... not enough to make your hands go numb or anything but it's very noticeable and one of my chief complaints outside of the factory clutching being way off.
