I don't remember being locked down while in Wisconsin? In fact, I remember many Minnesotans going to Wisconsin to be able to enjoy some freedoms while our "Tyrant Timmy" was forcing MN to stay locked down. Or are you just being blissfully unaware that Trump deferred those decisions to individual states (kind of like the abortion topic)?

Yup - just a couple weeks (maybe a month?) until the WI Supreme Court said stay home if you’re SKART, we are open for business. Spent and continue to spend money in Sconnie, except clothes… nice having two addresses right now.
Mag6240
On the oil topic, my brother-in-law has been doing 6-7 days a week, 10 hour days at Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount since July - crazy busy right now. He’s making bank for sure…

Would it make sense for the prices to be pushed lower, by increasing production, to save the Gov't money, on something they SHOULD be replenishing? If we nationalized the oil wells and didn't have OPEC that would work. The issue is oil producers here in the US haven't been too keen on investing heavy and fast when OPEC can just flood the market with cheap oil and degrade their margin.

In 2021, when demand increased more quickly supply could handle when the country was coming out of Covid. It was an attempt to stabilize oil prices and help keep inflation down. Maybe they are starting to add to it (if you want to call it that) because there is a glut....you know, because of a drop in demand....just a thought. Next year is gonna be a rough ride (as far as the economy is concerned), election or not.
