US government debt is on track to surpass $50 trillion by 2033. That means $5.2 billion is piling up every day

Ronnie wad the worst.  A steady increase in the debt.  Worst President ever.  Fucked people out of retirement pensions, taxed SS, increased the debt.

It's not rocket science, the US tax income average increase is 6% a year. 

Budgets can grow by that much so as to not cause issues.  It's not a "paying bills" problem, it is SPENDING period. 

If you know your household income is going to increase 6% next year, you sure as hell don't spend expecting a 10% increase.

pay down a little debt

then start swiping that credit card for some other shiny new object

 

 

term limits, no more omnibus bills, each budget item is voted line by line... and none of that will happen in our lifetime

Debt wise, China and especially Japan is in far worse shape than the US. China's public debt to GDP ratio is blinding.
