No your right, unless LEO in that area are Keystone Kops this is fucking ridiculous. Fact is they have no fucking clue where to be looking right now, none. Sending divers into the river?????? They would be better off with a bunch of kids with Pokemon Go experience at this point. If this guy with a little bit of training causes this much trouble what's gonna happen when a real soldier snaps. Now their are playing him up to be GI JOE FFS.

Divers are going into the river hoping to find his body.

I get that but they are just taking a shot in the dark, they haven't said why they think he may be in the river.

Alot of these people kill themselves. They are also saying he could possibly have a underground bunker. What this tells me is that hes disappeared without a trace.

Im sure what else they can do.  They have to exhaust every option. Like others have said., He’s probably in the woods somewhere with a bullet in his head. If the psychotic episodes come and go, once he gets a moment of lucidity, the gravity of what he did has got to be overwhelming.

Dogs would pick up that smell if that was the case.

Something doesnt add up to me but of course I admit I wear a Tin Foil hat. :news:

I agree that something stinks here. He was reported to be hearing voices. One family member reported that he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. That’s very unusual for a guy his age and reported accomplishments. Schizophrenia typically shows up late teens and early 20’s in men. Maybe another unibomber type government experiment.

Mike Glover reported that the guy was a firearms instructor at West Point. Prestigious.

You are an idiot.

He was not assigned to West Point as an instructor.

He is a Maine reservist who was on his 2 weeks of summer training.

Sadly, he held the same job I held, and he was in the same unit I was, albeit a different company in the same battalion.

We would show up and for 2 weeks we would run the training. The regular Army guys would get time off. We would teach US weapons to these people, teach them shooting techniques, run them through all the ranges and put them through qualification.

I went to most of the basic training posts, and a officer training group in Ft Lewis, Washington.

So, no prestige in giving instruction at West Point, just a reservist dude doing his 2 weeks... I did the exact same thing and am the furthest from prestigious...

Freedom isn’t the right to own an AR-15.  Freedom is the right to go out without fear of being killed by one.

Simply laughable coming from a leftist whose party supports no cash bail, gutting police departments and letting felons off on light sentences.   Give me a fucking break dude with the right to go without fear of crime.   Go sell crazy somewhere else.

Stupid Law Enforcement needs to report and telegraph every move they are making and planning  to make…there are important people in backwoods Canada that need to know!😂

I’ve know 3 firearms instructors. My brother in law was one during the Vietnam era. I’ve found all three to be very knowledgeable and intelligent. After reading your diatribe, I guess I’m mistaken. Sorry about your luck.

Very true but his type also like to create a scene as we have already established. I think if he was going to off himself he would have done so in a fire fight. Just MHO from Canada of course. Either way, the best outcome is him being dead and not turned into some sort of victim for a Dr. to save.

You knew 3, I knew over 100.

Training a troop how to shoot and maintain a rifle was nothing more than following steps as they were presented to you, and repeatedly repeating those instruction.

Prestigious.... OMG...

We would run as many as 400 kids through the training required to qualify with their weapon.

If you can consistently get 99 100% of them to pull it off on a daily basis, the instructors were god or it simply wasn't that difficult.

Granted we knew more about the weapons than most, that was background information that was presented but not tested. They didn't have to know the weight of the round, the feet per second, Yada Yada.

Just say your attempt to make the guy look good failed.

That's the beauty of the military. Any low grade moron such as myself can teach and train.

As far as failure, I haven't made it to van life yet, but a few more steps down the ladder of society and I hope to get there.

I apologize Jim, if I had known my post would upset you so much I wouldn't have posted it :bc:

If there's anything I can do to help us "get along" please let me know

Just for the good of the forums thanks.

I’m doing exactly what I want whenever I want. I’m also quite proud of having a legacy of trying to help others when everyone else had given up.

Despite everything you say, I respect your service and can say with certainty that your teaching saved lives on the battlefield.

BTW, fake humility is kinda disgusting.

And a good portion of the homeless are happy with their lot in life.

It's not fake humility. I would think someone who worked so close to the military would know  it is an exercise in repetition. Most anyone can be trained to do anything.

I was good at what I did, no doubt. But prestigious... come on man...

The job I had in Germany was much tougher in that I was handed a manual of rules, procedures and requirements and was told to learn it.

I remember when I started I was told 'just don't fuck up what Cpl Whetmore has going here,'.... until I showed the captain just how fucked up Cpl Whetmore had run the place.

It was 10x the accomplishment I ever experienced in instructing.

He wasn’t a firearms instructor in the national guard.

Card is a petroleum supply specialist in the Army Reserve and first enlisted in 2002, according to records provided by the Army on Thursday. He has no combat deployments, according to the records.
