Keep voting for the swamp.   oh but jim jordan!!@@@!!!.  Lots of hypocrites on this forum.  Not one has the fortitude for what this country needs.  But they sure do complain.

50% of the country pays either no income tax or has a negitive tax rate...

More taxes than just income.  Trickled on economics has proven to be a failure.  Need more historically progressive income tax brackets to strengthen the middle class and invest in America

We are talking federal...(ie bailouts)

The middle class is getting fuck paying for 50% that pay nothing or have a negitive tax rate. I don't understand why you think it's okay for people to not contribute, but recieve the benefit....the clearest example is unemployment insurance.  If you don't pay in you can't collect. Every level of our assistance programs should be participation based.

We won't fix the problem by having a "more progressive tax system" right now the top 10% pay 75% of the tax burden.

Sure we will fix many issues with a more progressive tax rate.  Wealth has flowed to the top in large part do to tax cuts and other economic advantages they have lobbied for.  The 50% not paying in need to be paid more from their wealthy employers so they qualify for paying income tax.

And how will the tax rates solve that?

History tells us people are paid what their worth. If I value your labor a $15.00 per hour and you value it @ 30.00 you are free to take your skill set and seek that higher wage. The conversation might get you a reasonable raise or the offer to leave at will....Nobody is responsible for you and your families wellbeing but you.
