U.S. says Russia looking to North Korea for weapons needed for Ukraine war

The White House on Thursday said it has new evidence that Russia is looking again to North Korea for weapons to fuel the war in Ukraine, this time in a deal that would provide Pyongyang with needed food and other commodities in return.

It's the latest accusation that Russia, desperate for weaponry and restricted by sanctions and export controls, is turning to "rogue" nations to help it continue its 13-month-old war.

"As part of this proposed deal, Russia would receive over two dozen kinds of weapons and munitions from Pyongyang," White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said.

"We also understand that Russia is seeking to send a delegation to North Korea and that Russia is offering North Korea food in exchange for munitions."

Sounds scary. Better get ready for ww3...

Reality sometimes is scary.

A wiser person accepts this.

Russia has nukes.
They will not be allowed to take over Europe, but they want to.

Nuclear weapons may come in to play.

The doves in this place are dumb as fuck.

Anyone familiar with Chamberlain, “Peace in our time”?

And another 2.6 billion to Ukraine.

I’d rather shovel them money than bodies of Canadian soldiers.

It will come to combat soldiers, and bodies, let’s wait this out.

Russia has shown no indication of wanting to take over Europe. That is just more fear mongering from the people who are stealing our wealth to enrich themselves.

You'd think the Pentagon would have learned by now. They are like 0 for 6 in the last 80 years.

They did learn. From players like Iran, Russia, China, and Al Qaeda. Proxy wars are the way to go.
