Which is the biggest pile? Polaris or Walker Evans shocks? Todd Palin is installing a set used front shocks from 2012 he bought from Toutuk the native in some shit hole village.

Walker sled shocks have always been garbage. They don't hold up to the average poo owner who spends most of the time "riding" sitting on a bar stool

Ever heard of these new things called YouTube and Facebook?

Yes, not much for aerial drone footage of different stages of the race which is what I would like to see. Also very little remote wilderness vids from say, a helo or a plane. More of that would be cool.

If you know where all the vids are post them up :thumb:

Nail biting suspense! The entire race is sitting in the shithole village of Galena. Why? Because the checkpoint doesn’t have enough gas. Sounds like someone stole some fuel drums so…. waiting for more gas to be hauled in from a different stink hole village. Bang up operation!

ever heard of providing a link to all this amazing footage superfan?

TAL again brings the goods... https://www.thealaskalife.com/blogs/news/2023-iron-dog-day-5-update

noteworthy... While Nome marks the halfway point for the Pro-Class teams, the Expedition Class sees the checkered flag under the arch!  One notable team is Team 77 including Mike Buck who is representing Alaska Safe Riders.  Buck will be performing some safety presentations along the trail to the children who live in the villages along the way and also hand out Iron Dog helmets.  Alaska Safe Riders generously donates hundreds of helmets each year to the kids in the villages and its worthwhile to highlight such a great organization.

The finish is today. I’m sure it’ll be the same exact lineup it has been since the start. Ski-doo will be first followed by the same two Polaris teams. It’s been boring as fuck.

Ski-doo is winning and Polaris sleds are breaking. Fucking Maytrx can’t hold together, total piece of shit. One guy quit cause he blew his back out from the rear skid falling apart on a Maytrx. It’s gotta be hard to come out with a better skid design than the 13 year old R-motion.

:news: Polaris with what 7 of the top 10 spots and a solid second place. :thumb:

yup... and not a good one.   see teams 4 & 44

Too bad, looks like a lot of teams DNF compared to other years. 15 teams finished the race which seems to be down compared to other years.   :dunno:
