Who?!? 950 have been convicted, 450 have pled guilty. I doubt many if any are sitting in jail awaiting trial. The only ones sitting in jail are the ones who’ve already been sentenced. And yeah, that’s a pretty damn good time to tell your side of the story when you’re sitting in front of a judge trying to explain why you were there.
