Because American citizens being armed to the teeth scares the fuck out of the fascists running our government . It terrifies law enforcement also

Nope they love an armed population. They know the citizens of USA couldn't organize a shit fight in an outhouse. The left and the right would go to war with each other first and the government will be there to rule who's ever left standing. Christ even Canada had to show you guys how to organize a convoy on a Capital.

Why is it guns are the only things involved with injury and death that the method is the issue.   Drunk driving its always the driver....not the booze or vehicle.   Violence with every other type of weapon we never talk about limiting those items like knives and what not.  Even drug overdoses we don't blame the drug itself.

Even with suicide we blame the gun.   Nobody cares about Tylenol if someone swallows a bottle of them.

Because vehicles have a superior service to society.  They are absolutely necessary to how we function.  Guns are not, they are ancillary to our society functioning.  They are a pleasure, not a requirement.

The design and deployment for the overwhelmingly vast majority of guns are to damage and kill.  Cars, again, are not, and many deploy standards towards the opposite in fact.

When we as citizens take to the roadways, we understand and assume the small risk of death that can happen.  It seems like we shouldn't have to assume that same risk for our children at schools.

Without guns you would likely still be a British Subject....

With regards to the school shooter. If he didn't have a gun, do you think he might quietly break into the school with a 20oz soda bottle full of gasoline....he could have barricaded himself in the same room and torched everything.

Nahhh,,,nobody ever did that is a movie and probably isn't an option on Grand Theft Auto V10.8. Also it would take a huge amount of balls and ingenuity.

Seems much less unlikely.  There is far more ability to subdue a person with a gas can that isn't lit than a person armed and wearing bulletproof attire.

Do we even know they are a threat?  No body armor, no visible long gun....

You've shown numerous times not possess any of that. Try again.

How many cases of successful gas bomb destination in a barricaded classroom have there been?

Let's look at the evidence.

Neal

Have you given up all your guns?

Common sense tells me this kid was going to kill alkt of people with or without guns.

The Bath School disaster, also known as the Bath School massacre,[Note 1] was a series of violent attacks perpetrated by Andrew Kehoe on May 18, 1927, in Bath Township, Michigan, United States. The attacks killed 38 elementary schoolchildren and 6 adults, and injured at least 58 other people. Prior to his timed explosives detonating at the Bath Consolidated School building, Kehoe had murdered his wife, Nellie Price Kehoe, and firebombed his farm. Arriving at the site of the school explosion, Kehoe died when he detonated explosives concealed in his truck.
