So much easier for some of these hacks to just blame Biden.

Lower at home oil production, increase regulations….nah, that won’t increase price at all. “It’s a normal trend” they say…..lolololol

Drop all effort to keep illegal immigrants out. Nah, that won’t increase illegal border crossing. ‘It’s a normal trend” they say….lololololol

Sure. We were basically energy independent. Not anymore....

Sucked  exporting  surplus.

So what pipeline was shut down that caused the loss of our energy independence?

When the oil price war hit its peak Trump bragged about buying the nations reserves from Saudi Arabia on the cheap for $22/ barrel. However he could have bought Texas oil for $4/ barrel and they were to the point they were going to have to dump the shit out because they had nowhere to put it. What did that do to our domestic producers?

So you're saying that his anti fossil fuel agenda has not affected the price of petroleum products. Fine.

Who pays taxes

A MarketWatch analysis of IRS statistics — which shows tax-filing figures through late November 2019 — revealed:

• Americans had $1.552 trillion in tax liabilities last year, compared with $1.619 trillion in total tax liabilities at the same point a year prior. That’s a drop of 4% on a year-over-year basis.

• The double-digit percentage decreases in average tax liability started with a 12.5% drop for people making $15,000 to $20,000 a year. Double-digit percentage reductions in liability continued for people making $25,000 to $30,000 (down 11.2%) through $100,000 to $200,000 (down 10.96%).

• Taxpayers making between $40,000 and $50,000 a year had the largest fall in average tax liability, a 14.5% drop, while high-end households making between $250,000 and $500,000 had the second largest decrease, with a 14.4% liability reduction.

• Taxpayers making at least $1 million had a 4.3% decrease in average tax liability.

Across income groups, most Americans got a tax cut under the 2017 law, according to the independent Tax Policy Center.

And this has what to do with the price of gas?

We’re talking about pipelines that were closed by Biden which led to increased fuel prices…try to focus.

Trump lowered taxes..

And  raised the debt to record levels and nearly doubled the deficit, and that was prior to the pandemic. And it still has nothing to do with the price of gas, although after the tax cuts and deregulation the national average gas price was higher than 2015 and 2016, only time gas was lower was during the pandemic.

Man, we have went through this multiple times.  Gasoline prices on average during OBAMA were higher than during TRUMP.  It was only right before the election that they started to go down.   Closing the pipeline leads to HIGHER GAS PRICES.  Closing a refinery leads to HIGHER GAS PRICES.  Closing an area for oil exploration leads to HIGHER GAS PRICES.  Not really that hard of a concept to figure out.

Yeah, COVID-19 had nothing to do with that, where’s you concern about debt during Obambi or Biden?

If you read what I said that was pre-covid.  So Trump spent more in his first 3 years than Obama did in his last 4, and that was pre -pandemic, Obama spent an average of about 1.1 trillion a year Trump about 1.6 trillion per year.

You are the guy who cried endlessly about spending, right up until Jan. 2017, then not so much.

Not during 2015 and 2016, no matter how many times you try to deny it.

Gas prices had trended down, just as U.E. trended down and the stock market trended up.

On average Trump added more the to debt than Obama did.

Trumps farmer bailout cost more than the auto bailout and nothing got payed back and his tariffs  bankrupted many farmers.

Remember how many years you cried about the auto bailout?

During the pre-COVID-19 Trump era, the low price of gas helped sustain an economic boom that brought wage increases for lower-class workers and spurred unprecedented low levels of unemployment.

The main reason for the low gas prices was that a huge surge in domestic and North American production was driving prices down. Even more importantly, the production was freeing the United States energy market from the vagaries of Middle Eastern politics and weakening such malign actors as Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose ability to sow chaos depends upon oil revenue.

During that period, thanks to fracking technology and a federal government committed to commonsense regulation, the U.S. became the world’s leading oil producer. It also became a net exporter of oil, even as the nation decreased carbon emissions, thanks to the surge in natural gas production.

Unfortunately, President Joe Biden has been determined to undo this progress ever since he took office. He halted construction on the Keystone XL pipeline and banned new leasing for energy on federal lands. He happily indulges the delusions of extremists who believe the U.S. must enter an age of managed decline and lower living standards in order to stave off an imaginary apocalypse.

Yet even as he is taking specific steps to cripple the domestic energy industry, Biden recognizes that he is harming motorists. He fears the political consequences, and rightly so.

This is why, even as he bows down to environmentalist fanatics by maiming his own country’s energy industry, Biden is for at least the second time this summer pathetically begging OPEC, the international oil cartel, to increase production in order to bring prices down.

It’s like the Jimmy Carter presidency all over again.

“Higher gasoline costs, if left unchecked, risk harming the ongoing global recovery,” reads the latest statement from national security adviser Jake Sullivan to the OPEC bosses. He is right, of course — if only his boss understood as much.

If Biden wants the recovery to continue in spite of the inflation he is causing with his big-spending ways, he should start by taking his boot off the neck of the nation’s economy so that everybody can go back to not knowing or caring about what OPEC’s bosses are thinking.

It is past time for Biden to stop whining to OPEC and instead start letting people make use of the natural resources with which God endowed this great land. Many lives and livelihoods depend on it.

How much has Biden spent so far compared to what Trump spent last year?

How much did Biden claim he would cut the debt and deficit?

Biden said he was going to spend and he is, are you surprised?

Yep,  Every conservative pushes against spending.  Only democrats constantly support spending on their side and complain about it when it is a republican.  Also, they are constantly complaining about LOWERING TAXES.  What kind of moron complains when he is able to keep his money instead of letting the government take it to spend.
