I thought you were suggesting the 800 cat was the fastest.

fyi the sidewinder is faster than the tcat it has better clutches

Actually the t cat is faster and has better clutches

No it’s no and no it doesn’t. Cat just changed it’s primary again. When I owned Yamaha my clutches ran cold.

Yes it is. Everyone knows the t cat is better with better clutching

2022 mach z is going to be the fastest stock sled of all time

From what I’m seeing I just really doubt it. A max effort tune 900T can’t beat a current stock sidewinder and the t cat is faster yet

Yeah I can make several hard pulls on my cat and the belt is nowhere near even warm.

Skidoo wouldn't put out a mach z if it wasn't the fastest. We will see at snow shoot. The mach is gonna lay a gape on the winder and tcats.

Cats getting ready to release the Protryx with the introduction of this new clutch. It’s narrower allowing for narrower plastics.

new chassis again?

I’m talking real world not made up stuff. Not that it won’t be fast stock I just can’t see it being the fastest. Doo is always sucking hind tit when it comes to stuff like this. The T cat has always been faster than the Mach but the Mach historically was just a nicer sled

Oh and new gauge... yeah they could offer one. But cats base gauge is a fair bit nicer than doos. Doos base gauge is seriously awful.

they just give you the option of the $1000 premium gauge if you so choose

Well after 10 years in the chassis, 3 clutch changes and 140hp big bore. It's about time.

If the rest offer 3 or more, and your one is as good as their entry level gauge, YES.

Oh ok well cats good then. Their gauge is a fair bit better than doos base gauge

Cats good yep.

But a distant 3rd in the real world.

New chassis. New rear suspension. Tweak the front a tad because it's pretty good. Upgrade the 80s KITT gauges. Get the mapping right on that 800.

Basically offer the people what they want.

The comments in the Arctic Insider article pretty much say it all.

Die hard Cat boys are fed up and either not buying a 2022 or they're finally moving on.

Cat closing shop is not good for our sport. Not one bit.
