How Texas solar helped meet winter storm challenges, and could go even further

Renewables definitely exceeded expectations and proved more reliable then their fossil fuel generation.  Responses to this have made many Republicans look like idiots from Ted Cruze, to Fox News to the governor and lieutenant governor of Texas.

The Lieutenant governor was on Fox News yesterday talking about how reliable fossil fuel generation is....  fucking guy is blind.

Horse owners were against solar panel pollution?  Did you eat a lot of paint and glue as a kid?

Well, if we were still on horses now like there are cars driving around, we'd actually have more pollution not less.  Cow farts = horse farts and horse shit everywhere you look.

Texas wind power output was as low as 4 percent of normal steady state at one point. Solar tanked considerably due to snow cover also. Nuclear shut down some reactors due to freezing cooling water and gas lines froze.

Plenty of blame to go around for everyone. Shouldn't be political but we can't help ourselves...
