Carlos Danger
I am adding French cleats to one of my shop walls any ideas? Watch video and tell me if I am looking at this the right way. Check the comments for some helpful hints.
Mag6240
I like it! (And the French chick!) Simple way to add very usable storage.....
Zambroski
Looks like a cool project for sure. I just buy the 4x8 pre-cleated panels and use plastic shelves and pegs made for it. I'd certainly be inclined to this sytem too...it'd be fun to make.

BobRoss
I have not made one yet, so I have no tips, but I am planning on doing this for the shop.

Carlos Danger
I was gonna say my new Brushless circular saw is the bomb when you are framing something. Light, powerful, great battery life, zips off framing lumber quick like a bunny.
Mainecat
I just pick up old steel Youngstown kitchen wall cabinets and paint em gloss black. They are getting hard to find these days.
Mainecat
Fuck me I just did a search on Youngstown cabinets. These are 800 bucks on eBay! I’m rich lol.

I built a couple video stores using a slatwall system like that. Was basically just engineered particle board, you just line the walls with it, throw on the variety of brackets and display hangers, instant store.
