It's actually starting to look like a good thing...

Trump lost.  Kindof a bummer, but there's some goodness in there if you look at the big picture.

Dems didn't get the Senate from the looks of things.

Dems didn't pick up a huge wave in the house either.

Midterms always go against the sitting president's party.

Repubs seem to have made serious inroads into union and minority voting blocks.

It took the largest vote total in American history for Biden to beat a president everyone on the planet thinks is a giant asshole.

Biden in 4 years is going to be a mess, if he's even still coherent at all...  A president Harris won't beat a strong repub candidate.

So...  a Trump loss might actually have the effect of settling down a bunch of the bullshit rioting and looting, while Biden is unable to enact any of the dangerous shit like killing the filibuster, adding states, adding supreme justices.

Many (myself included) predicted a Biden win with a pretty significant blue wave in the wake of the presidential election.  The blue wave seems to have been a mere ripple.

Net-net, we might be OK.  No president in the last several decades has come into office without controlling both chambers of congress.  The fact Biden won't have that is really a good thing.

I would have preferred the pubs take the house somehow. Complete gridlock is best for this country when you have incompetent asshole pieces of shit running it.

No question we were heading for 4 years of impeachment after impeachment with Trump in the WH and the democraps holding the house.

I thought that you’d find the boomer reference offensive.

It is but its every man for themselves now. The world is full of fucking morons. These are the 2 worst candidates in American history and half of the country thinks the fate of the world rests on one or the other. There is no hope.

Oh yeah.  Forgot about that in my OP.

Now that Biden is president, COVID will disappear in a month.

Scientists will finally release the Covid vaccines that they’ve been secretly concealing.

Great point.

I don't see this one being decided for weeks at this point, along with court challenges.  The mail in ballots were the Dem's trump card so to speak, and I think they're cheating scum, so anything that gives that scrutiny i'm good with.  Markets up huge again today highest in 120 years.  Which makes no sense at all.

It appears repubs might just narrow the majority the Dems have in the house.

redistricting from the census tallies will certainly factor into the next race and I hope people start talking about it soon....  midterms are less then 2 years away.

Time to fire up the campaigns and hit the airwaves with campaign adds.  2022 will have huge implications
