And destroying the middle class benefits the rich in what way?

Think about this, the rich need the middle class to spend money :news:

The money we are spending is being devalued at a rate we can’t comprehend. The middle class of this country is moving backwards fast and the rich are getting richer at a rate never before seen. This is about making to classes....the haves and the have nots.

True but in the last 20 - 25 years the middle class really isn't spending money, they're spending plastic because they're deeper in debt.

Not for very fn long !!

Legislators will completely ban his order just like they did in May.

On Wednesday, May 13 the state Supreme Court overturned Wisconsin's stay-at-home order, striking down statewide rules issued by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) limiting the operation of non-essential businesses and calling on residents to limit their travel.

Some counties and municipalities across the state immediately began issuing their own orders, or announcing the state's "Safer at Home" order would still apply in areas under their jurisdiction.

Two days later, many counties began rescinding their local stay-at-home orders following questions on the legality of the orders.

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE. Statewide mandated mask order effective 12 am Saturday for Wisconsin. Put away all distractions when out alone, pay attention to your surroundings and keep your children within arms length. You think one of the biggest human trafficking hot spots in the country is bad now? Just wait when every stranger is suddenly anonymous and unidentifiable. Over 1/2 a million missing kids in the US alone every year. Please be aware not only for your little ones but your teens and even yourself

mask mandates have come with exceptions, such as for young children and people whose medical conditions may make it unsafe to wear one.

Thursday’s mask requirement was issued by Evers himself, and rests on a separate authority. The Legislature has the ability to immediately rescind the order through a joint resolution passed by the Senate and Assembly.

While Evers said last week the growing number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin had “accelerated” his consideration of a mask mandate, the governor has said multiple times that his authority to impose a statewide order is likely limited by the state Supreme Court’s May decision to toss out his stay-at-home order.

As of Friday, more than a dozen county sheriffs across Wisconsin said they would not enforce the order, with many noting they didn’t have the resources to deal with it or that it was a public health issue instead of a law enforcement matter.

Our County on enforcing Masks starting tomorrow:

Sawyer County sheriff outlines department's response to face mask order

SAWYER COUNTY– Sheriff Doug Mrotek said in a press release on Friday, July 31, that the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office will not be "taking any direct law enforcement actions" regarding Gov. Tony Evers's emergency order or order to wear face masks.

He said, however, that the office will respond "to reports or complaints from business owners or managers requesting that an individual leave a premise for failing to comply with the face covering mandate as it relates to that specific premise."

Mrotek said in the press release:

Governor Evers has released an emergency order requiring face coverings to be worn by everyone over the age of 5 indoors or in an enclosed space with some exceptions including at a private residence.

The Sawyer County Sheriffs Office supports individual actions to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Those actions include but are not limited to social distancing, proper washing of hands, use of hand sanitizers and the use of personal protective equipment, including face coverings. We appreciate the efforts of business owners who have taken numerous steps to keep people healthy with the use of safety barriers, social distance arrangements and disinfecting procedures.

In order to provide some clarification, please be advised that the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office will not be responding to complaints of individuals violating the Governor's order, nor will it be taking any direct law enforcement actions as it relates to the Governor's face covering mandate. Consistent with our understanding of Emergency Order # 1, the goal is compliance and education and is not meant to be punitive. However, the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office will respond to reports or complaints from business owners or managers requesting that an individual leave a premise for failing to comply with the face covering mandate as it relates to that specific premise.

Please know, during this time of uncertainty for individuals and families, we will do our best to offer the services and support our community needs. We appreciate the willingness of our citizens to comply with the order and recommendations of the various agencies overseeing this unprecedented health emergency, and for doing their part to help our community navigate through this difficult time.

The Sawyer County Public Health Department will be responding to calls and concerns regarding the masking requirement which is a public health concern. Those concerns can be addressed to: maskinformation@,sawvercountygov.org or 715-638-3352.
