Our 2012 Ram (Hemi) gets better fuel mileage than buddies F150 Eco hauling basically the same trailers/sleds and we've done quite a few trips together. He does get better mileage not towing

If you are constantly in and out of the gas it's not good at all.

Woodtick
The company 2500 Chevy van ,with the 4.3 ,8 speed is averaged about 18. It’s a 19,fully loaded with tools and parts, never a trailer behind it.

It gets 12 mpg but has 2 gas tanks so I don't have to refuel mid-week. The price we pay.

I’m on a bunch of Jeep pages. If you take care of them,200k isn’t a problem.
