why is this thing still spreading?

Recommended Posts

Yesterday the state of VT visited motels, hotels and B&B's to see if they were following the  law as far,as closing unless they were providing services due to the virus.  They found about 80 open. Only half were providing services for the virus.

Yeah but I still see lots of ppl out and about

dollar stores are open and places similar

I went to tractor supply yesterday.

are they non essential?

I know a family that owns two sled dealerships. One sells used logging equipment and is still open because it’s considered agricultural. The other one is closed. That’s in Mi,and IL has similar rules. There are some local government near me that have put in real tough rules.

By definition of essential. They stocked all the essentials! Camping gear, MREs, ammo, firearms, fishing equipment, boots/ clothing, etc.

what a cluster fuck, fucking governor sent the state police to physically shut it down.

Maine “the way life should be”. My ass...

Yeah!  Crush these small businesses trying to stay afloat!  Fuck them!  Have they not heard they are getting a $1200 bonus check to carry them through this?!?!!

Meanwhile, 500 flights arriving at local airport today from all over the world.  $1200 buys some nice flight tickets!!!

If it's for government contracts,  yes. If for public,  no IMO.

Another gray area

Friends that work there know the company is taking advantage of the high sales right now. That’s the public

It’s always about the money at any expense

The blame lies squarely on debt driven capitalism. The end. Businesses and governments and consumers alike can’t take 1 missed week of the credit card shell game without folding shop and begging for socialism.

Just close the high-density populated areas, protect and isolate the high-risk vulnerable group........ And let Mom and Pop shops in stickville remain open..... No need for them to be devastated  and put out of business.
