Yep and it's a snow check only sled. 1 hour ago, Highmark said: I'm not upset I'm just posting real numbers. You are probably comparing doo canadian prices to cat American prices. Post up both your numbers like I did. Again can you get any spring discount off MSRP when ordering a Cat? I got a price last year of $14,051.11 OTD for a black '20 Renegade XRS with 1.25" RipSaw1 and no quick adjust. Add tax , freight and prep ,and the other fees to that Cat snow check price and you're less than $500 difference compared to the XRS. Even if you swap out the RS1 for an RS2 like I did, the cost is less than $150 when you resell the RS1. SkiDoo ftw 1 hour ago, ACE said: Let’s figure it out HP and speed difference? Negligible handling— cat suspension— advantage cat shock package— clearly cat comfort— subjective.depends on riders build fuel economy— not sure. The cat is good oil economy- cat by far price? Cat by far belt life— cat trade difference- again, cat Why am I paying 5 grand more for a doo again? 1 hour ago, Kev144 said: 1 year warranty. Extra 3 will cost about 4500 😲 52 minutes ago, thewayout said: Build quality - doo resale - doo engine - clearly doo. Ctec is good, but not even close to etec good. The midrange power of the 850 is night and day better then the ctec and I drove 2 of them this weekend. Run quality is better overall on the etec. eros - personally being 6’3” the plastics on the cat annoy the shit out of me. Doo eros are better, Polaris are the best for me. front suspension - cat rear suspension - doo r motion ftw fuel economy - doo 850 wins compared to 2 ctecs. Doo gives you a 4 year warranty on snowchecked sleds, cat is only 1 which is ridiculous. overall, the saying “you get what you pay for” holds true. You pay for premium build quality and QC. That being said Brian’s RR is nice. The 19 limited Brian’s buddy has is a piece of shit in comparison. Shit is falling apart on it already with under 800 miles and he doesn’t ride hard at all. Yep. No excuse for that at all 👎🏼 39 minutes ago, Doos said: So Cat is dropping their pants on pricing, falling even further behind in sales, and only building spring order sleds? Sounds like things are going really well, sound business model. Yep

It's not $3,000.00 better, sorry about your luck

Yeah, new front end is supposed to be some kinda hot shit for sure. I’m gonna find out. Meh...it’s my experience it’s mainly just the Poo guys that be all hatin’. They are an ornery bunch for sure. Platinum Contributing Member Jimmy Snacks Posted February 25, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted February 25, 2020 (edited) Now the prices I quoted were both off the respective websites...obviously different dealers give better deals but pretty sure the Cat prices are fairly firm so that 3000.00 could be smaller in some cases. I can't believe that so many people have engine issues. From my Wildcat in 92 until now I've never had a motor failure issue with a 2 stroke other than my 01 Tcat which was 15+ yrs old at the time I popped it. Everything else has been bulletproof. 15+ different 2 strokes of all brands, almost all had over 3000 miles when sold and never had to replace 1 engine part because of a failure. Seems to me people need to take better care of things like using quality oil/gas, letting them warm up before going ripping down the trail and proper off season preparation. Just like I posted above both doo dealers in my area give $1500 off spring orders. Add in 3 more years warranty and the Poo/Doo is a better deal in my books.

I really liked Doo’s engine better, but I liked my handling and shock set up better. But neither the Doo handling or Cat engine are bad. But not a chance in hell is his Doo worth paying that much more for especially seeing it still is in the dark ages literally with those shitty headlights.
