If it wasn't for the merchandising part of my daughters fashion degree I would not have paid for that. Put a stop to my son being a history major because he couldn't tell me he wanted to commit to teaching which is about all that can do for you unless you want to go on to grad school. Make students understand the loans that they are taking out and justify their loan. If Suzy plans to work at a charity making $22k then she shouldn’t be given $150k in student loans. They’re learning stuff over in Japan at like the 6th grade level that our students don’t start to get into until college. Sadly, our education system just isn’t competitive any longer.
