Nice state. We did NY, VT, Maine, Mass, CT, and PA. Liked VT the best.

Well then ya did a little of NH then too. As Maine is the only state in the lower 48 that only touches 1 other state.

Should have done the whole state and skipped mass.

Probably. We really only went to Salem in Mass for the day, and spent the night somewhere a little south of there. Actually other than Salem, we really just drove through places to PA. Didnt spend much time in CT either.

Only spent a day and a half in VT, but 3 days in Maine. Maine is cool, and the Lobster was amazing (had a $100 lunch at some place on a pier as they were bringing them in fresh, I think it was near Acadia Park), but next time we will spend more time in VT and NH.

We were just on the southern end of NH.

We will skip PA next time too. Wife is from NY, so we did all the adrondack stuff.

I had never been in the NE before. Its a cool area.

Maine has an awesome coast , cant be beat. The interior can be kinda boring except for western and northern Maine. Ya should try it in the winter sometime. Sledding in Northern Maine is as good as Quebec.

There’s a place in Barrington, NH called Calefs that sells a Vermont cheddar called “Rat Trap” cheese that’s awesome. They have been selling it since the early 70’s.
