Anarcho Communists don't believe in a vanguard party or using state power to impose communism. The only way communism works is when everyone participates voluntarily. Capitalism survives and even thrives all over the world in spite of Communism but Communism can't thrive because Capitalism is holding it down? What Marx envisioned is really secondary to the discussion, what was produced is what matters. Judging things by their intentions and not their results is a mistake.
