I thought new ecobootht f150’s were insane world beaters?

Dude calls me at like 10:30 at night cause he got an ecoboost and wanted to race something. I was already lying in bed so naturally I was like of course I’ll race

get of the phone, still lying in bed. Wife asks “what was that aboot?”

i said oh that was buddy I’m going to race his truck with your suburban.

ahe looks at me funny and just said sigh. Don’t crash it 

lol

irregardlessly both are bone stock. Probably raced 6-7 times all the same outcome

Bar owner down the road bought  new Ford's in 2010, 2014, and 2019, every 1 he's had has had major electronics issues, his 2019 is in again right now getting the second dash module put in within 2 months, they've been fixed under warranty and he gets a free loaner car but geez what a nightmare for him, personally I'd change brands.

I'm staying away from the Ecoboost.  Need a oil catch can or the valves get excessively dirty.  And the two turbos that are $500 a piece that will fail.

5.0 is good enough for me.  Reliable and simple.

the GM  economy gauge is pretty accurate.  the ford one not so much.  i will say the fords pretty accurate on the miles to empty so the off almost 10% on MPG is really unexcusable.
