6 years of Obamacare and

The United States was one of only five countries, along with Somalia, Afghanistan, Georgia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where healthy life expectancy at birth fell in 2016, according to a Reuters analysis of the WHO data, which was published without year-on-year comparisons in mid-May.

Great post Spin.   More signs of Obamacare at work.

Meanwhile U.S. life expectancy is falling, having peaked at 79 years in 2014, the first such reversal for many years, Clements-Hunt said.

Of course you know healthy life expectancy comes from years of lifestyle habits. Well, maybe you don’t.

Obamacare has made me (and other's I know) LESS likely to seek healthcare....due to the very high deductibles.

Not surprisingly, their stated goal of saving money overall by NOT having people defer needed treatment has resulted in the opposite.  :suicide:

You guys are always the ones pointing to life expectancy as this benchmark comparison to other countries.

while I also don't go to the doc because of high deducs that train was running well before obamacare.  None of these pussies in WA are willing to go after the cost of care so that will never change

In our household, out of pocket post OC went up A LOT.  Whenever I need to see a Dr or a specialist is a navigational nightmare regarding paperwork, and trying to figure out what my out of pocket might be.  The people behind the desk at ANY healthcare company I talk to about it all say the same thing....what a shit show.

Government "solutions"  :suicide:

It really is.  Plus, there's no telling what the long term effects will be from TDS.  Brain cancer, diabetes, scoliosis, birth defects, impotence, eunuchism, liver warts, etc...  I hoping we can avoid all this by the short term side effect being suicide...or homocide.  Potato/Potahto

Opioid deaths among young people are why our life expectancy stats have been trending down.  Just Monday, a guy my brother and I grew up with’s daughter died of a heroin overdose in Plymouth MA.  My admin has already been to two funerals this year of kids who’s parents she knew.  Why it isn’t front page news is beyond me.  People are more fixated on fake bullshit news being fed to them by a corrupt media.

Our company saved $50,000 this year with ACA policies.

How do you know it was attributable to the ACA that's been in full effect for several years now?

My #'s I know cause as OC was implemented the deductibles ramped way up overnight (at implementation).

Because the underwritten policy was $50k more. Thats why we did it this way. Lucky for us we averaged under 50 employees last year otherwise we'd have been fucked.

Deductibles were about $500 higher but too fucking bad. People should pay for their own healthcare anyway and stop fucking the employer!!!!!111

I realize the economy is on fire.  Was curious how hard it is to find employees.  Seems brutal for most industries to find even half way decent employees.  Should do well for wages.  We'll see if the end customer will absorb the probable higher prices.

Its real hard, we are trying to steal workers from other companies. Our guys are union so their wages are already too high but fortunately for us we are a reputable company in an industry of scoundrels. We are offering alot of overtime. These bitches will get on board. Our market is union market, the customer is spending like crazy right now. There is more work than there is people to do the work. Havent had this problem in quite some time.

I'm going to go ahead and call bullshit on this. I dont think a few thousand deaths of young adults can sway this stat appreciably in a country of 350 million
