Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted May 30, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted May 30, 2018 Great post Spin. More signs of Obamacare at work. Meanwhile U.S. life expectancy is falling, having peaked at 79 years in 2014, the first such reversal for many years, Clements-Hunt said. Of course you know healthy life expectancy comes from years of lifestyle habits. Well, maybe you don’t.
Im4snow
Obamacare has made me (and other's I know) LESS likely to seek healthcare....due to the very high deductibles. Not surprisingly, their stated goal of saving money overall by NOT having people defer needed treatment has resulted in the opposite. Whenever I need to see a Dr or a specialist is a navigational nightmare regarding paperwork, and trying to figure out what my out of pocket might be. The people behind the desk at ANY healthcare company I talk to about it all say the same thing....what a shit show. Plus, there's no telling what the long term effects will be from TDS. Brain cancer, diabetes, scoliosis, birth defects, impotence, eunuchism, liver warts, etc... I hoping we can avoid all this by the short term side effect being suicide...or homocide. Potato/Potahto

DriftBusta
Opioid deaths among young people are why our life expectancy stats have been trending down. Just Monday, a guy my brother and I grew up with’s daughter died of a heroin overdose in Plymouth MA. My admin has already been to two funerals this year of kids who’s parents she knew. Why it isn’t front page news is beyond me. People are more fixated on fake bullshit news being fed to them by a corrupt media.

Lucky for us we averaged under 50 employees last year otherwise we'd have been fucked. Deductibles were about $500 higher but too fucking bad. People should pay for their own healthcare anyway and stop fucking the employer!!!!!111 Edited May 30, 2018 by Nazipigdog

I realize the economy is on fire. Was curious how hard it is to find employees. Seems brutal for most industries to find even half way decent employees. Should do well for wages. Its real hard, we are trying to steal workers from other companies. Our guys are union so their wages are already too high but fortunately for us we are a reputable company in an industry of scoundrels. We are offering alot of overtime. These bitches will get on board. Our market is union market, the customer is spending like crazy right now. There is more work than there is people to do the work. Havent had this problem in quite some time.
