You know he is the Prime Minister of Canada?  Everything he does is news you dummy.

but like your hero AC you too say he should have danced like a fool in the middle of the Floors instead of sitting in his seat enjoying the music.

No one is asking you to like the Hip but you can't deny it was this was the biggest thing to hit Canada in a long time, you chose to ignore it while the rest of Canada had out door parties and Bars were full, Families watching in their living rooms.  Instead you turn this into about Trudeau, no one else didn't that just you and your hatred.  Very telling

You are still your predictable self. True Dope was even criticized by the media for his announcement days ahead of the show that he was going to attend. As usual you put a twisted spin on things. Nobody said True Dope should have been dancing although apparently a very large portion of the audience was. The point is by announcing on social media that he was going True Dope as usual managed to put some focus on himself like he loves to do. "Look at me everybody, I'm going to the show"

As for everyone else in Canada tuning in and having parties your assumption that every Canadian with the exception of a couple of people here are fans is laughable. If the man wasn't dieing one of their concerts wouldn't have been more than a blip on the radar. I do however wish him the best regarding his prognosis and in particular his family

lol

Trudeau wasn't sure whether he would make it to a Hip tour stop when asked in June. He said he was lucky enough to see the band perform at many concerts, and has met Downie several times

The media asked Him not the other way around......

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was invited by The Tragically Hip to attend the final stop of the iconic Canadian band’s Man Machine Poem tour.

The band’s management offered Trudeau four tickets, the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed to Global News Tuesday. The other three tickets went to local MP Mark Gerretsen, Trudeau’s principal secretary Gerry Butts and chief of staff Katie Telford.

Trudeau is looked up to by Gord and the Band

Each seat cost $133.75 and Trudeau and co. paid for them out of pocket — no taxpayer money was in the mix.

Trudeau Tweets almost everyday, he tweeted the day of the concert that he was in Kingston with the HIp Fans, not one mention prior to that day.

He proudly tweets about our Olympic Athletes everyday during the Olympics - He is a true Canadian

You and your hero AC are making this about Trudeau, its very clear you have no idea what happened and just make up shit like always

Keep cheering AC links to dancing on the Floor to get attention since Harper never once mentioned The Hip in his 10 year reign.

Just a question for you,  did you say Photo op when Harper attended the Gold finals in Hockey? as he waved look at me I like hockey

did anyone post about it? NO

Now continue on  with your arrogance

Looks like they were epic in Canada for sure.  I just breezed through a few songs.  Is there a song or two that us "Yanks" may recognize?

Shhh Fail will say you're full of it. Absolutely everyone loves their music and are huge fans. Didn't you know they are more popular than Elvis or The Beatles.

Never heard that either.  They sound like a bluesy version of The Doors.  Without the stupid organ music.

Hmmmm.....never thought of that comparison...you might have something there.

The organ is what made them different.

I am not wrong, social media is full of haters like yourself ( who didn't even watch but have an opinion anyway)

I don't care what actors or you say either but that isn't the point.  You retards posting about photo ops is the issue.  now you post a link saying that Trudeau should have danced like an idiot on the floor ( like May and Harper)  instead of quietly sitting in his seat.  How fucked up is that?

Gord spent many months in the North a subject he really cares about, he kicked Harper in the teeth that night since He (harper) didn't do a fucking thing in 10 years about the issues.

Much later in the show, Downie again spoke about his fondness for Trudeau.

“Thank you to the Prime Minister for coming to our show, it really means a lot to all of us,” he said.

“We’re in good hands, folks, real good hands. He cares about the people way up North, that we were trained our entire lives to ignore, trained our entire lives to hear not a word of what’s going on up there. And what’s going on up there ain’t good. It’s maybe worse than it’s ever been, so it’s not on the improve. (But) we’re going to get it fixed and we got the guy to do it, to start, to help.

Trudeau didn't ask for any of this you idiot.  And Gord was speaking about people like yourself that are puppets to the Right.

Can just hear you now saying "Trudeau dancing like an idiot for photos"  fuck

And I am not back

Fail, let me make it simple for you.  The Hip politicized this event, and Trudope was there for a photo op, the media publicized it days before, so yah they can expect criticism.   So what did Gord say that was so moving?  Absolutely nothing!  The only solution Trudope has it to throw more money at a bad situation with even less accountability, sounds like a great plan.  I have been up north as well for infrastructure projects and every contractor on site was a major alcoholic by the end cause there is nothing for them to do and no place to go.   Gord can donate his estate to his great cause, but would likely have better use just tossing whatever he has into a giant bonfire, at least that might keep a few warm for a few minutes.

And I don't care if its Plant/Jagger etc, just play your great music otherwise, shut the fuck up.

I don't think they were known outside of Canada.  Like I said before, if I can make it through listening to one song without changing the channel, its a compliment.  Forget about two.

What relatively recent Canadian bands are popular now up there as far as rock goes?  I've got a lot of Veer Union and Three Days Grace downloaded....pretty good stuff IMO.  I like Theory of a Dean Man too.  I can still "drink up" some older Nickleback.  That first album was pretty good I thought.

New?  IDK, guess I'm like Adam Sandler and stuck in the past, still crank up Rush.
