I want a new truck, but really can't justify spending the money especially in today's market. Currently have a 12 GMC 2500 hd with 165,000 miles on the clock. Runs fantastic and has been extremely reliable, other than a transmission (torque converter) at the 105 mark. Had the original brakes and hubs changed at 150. Other than that the usual maintenance. I'd like to get 300,000 out of it if I can.

Just called a propane supplier to get a set date on switching my tank at the cabin from another provider. Now mind you I called a couple of weeks ago and the new customer price was $1.49 a gallon. Today that price was $2.09 a gallon. $.60 difference in 2 weeks. Unreal......

I can see your guy's point to a certain extent and to be honest I would never speed up to cut someone off like that. I can be an asshole but not that big of one. Its the people that throw a fender in there when there wasn't room to begin with. I'll let someone in if they have their blinker on and give me some time to slow down or make room. Don't have a problem with roundabouts what so ever. And how would I be the problem? I travel to northern Michigan and back at least twice a month. Time and time again I see jerkoffs racing to the front, cutting people off and almost causing accidents at the very beginning of a construction zone because they feel the need to get ahead of everyone else. I've seen people get out of line and race to the front. A couple of weeks ago a guy in a red ram flew by me and stuck his front fender in front of the guy in front of me at the last second. Fuck that! I can tolerate allowing people in if there is an accident and there's no prior knowledge for the need to merge, but if there's a sign 2 miles back warning of a lane closure and someone pulls that shit. Sorry about your luck. If I've got to wait, so do you.

That's bullshit and I absolutely hate mf's that do that. I park my truck in that lane intentionally and don't give two shits about it. Why should anyone have to slow down or stop to let some impatient asshole in at the last minute. Get your ass in line like the rest so we can all do the speed limit through the construction zone smoothly. Smh!

Lol! I was being sarcastic. My great grandparents came over on the boat, made a good living and raised a large family because of the opportunities provided by this country. It wasn't easy and no one gave them anything. I'd like to think their work ethic got passed down to my children's generation.
