  1. One of the guys in my club who has an XCR, and loves to jump A LOT (He's really good at it) had his shocks re-valved and springs upgraded from stock. Sent them off to a guy in Stevens Point, Wenzlaff (SP?). Just a comment from one of the better riders in my club, a former cross country and sno-cross racer: I could bottom it out at will with the stock valving. I also got HD torsion springs. It's a night and day difference in the rough stuff (no comparison). I hopped on another guys XCR this winter with stock setup and immediately noticed a difference and that was in the little bumps. I will have every sled done from now on. In the rough stuff is where it shines.
  2. Walz never left the metro. And did he even do one debate?
  3. Exactly - I remember back in the early 2000s there were some guys with the biggest/baddest mountain sleds at the time riding in the Sierra Nevada mountains for a good 4-5 years in a row with stellar snow conditions. They put out a ton of vids of their little adventures. So yeah, it's happened before...
  4. I think that article said they would predictably go from 23% to 26% full - that's a pretty good jump for one year, let's hope it happens again - it always does eventually.
  5. Misunderstood - all good!
  6. Well that's basically what is happening, is it not?? Lake Mead and Lake Powell are swelling. Here’s what that means for the water supply (msn.com)
  7. See - this was my point. I see BOTH events as being off the charts stupid and should be seriously investigated. Yet one gets on going coverage and investigations, where the other, wait, what was that? Oh never mind...
  8. These "Trumpers" should have taken precautions to avoid identification. They should have been paying attention to the "Riots" going on after George Floyd - the ones instigating at those events made sure their faces were covered, and slithered out the back side of the conflict after bashing windows to get the looting ramped up...
  9. I watched it - it’s cringe worthy to say the least. One minute he’s telling us he is “witnessing” history, then he’s instructing people to go in the capital, the next he’s over there telling them “no, don’t do that”. I’m not sure there’s really any convict-able evidence in that piece, but to say he’s not part of it? Hmmmm…. Either way this was nothing but a media piece, discrediting anyone who was there… except Epps. I find it to be right in line with how the whole story is being portrayed as CBS would want it to be. Ratings… and here everyone is, lapping it up.
  10. 1.325" or 1.6"? One of the guys in my club got the 1.6" Cobra and really likes it. He does have a little more off trail ability than us 1.325" guys, even though he claims it's just rider skill! All kidding aside, it is a noticeable difference.
  11. Moving on from the Assault? I think you'll really like the XCR. Which track did you get with it?
  12. Yeah, I saw the hit in the back of the pack as it happened, and that caught my attention very quickly... That was a VERY hard hit!!
  13. I got this cool pic of a Fischer about 20 years ago - almost like he posed!
  14. Pic doesn’t really do this guy justice - 2 years ago south of Ely, MN - came upon a bridge and he was standing on the other end. Trotted into the woods and started walking about 30’ off the trail, it was DEEP here and his belly was still above the snow… I’ve seen many over the years in northern Sconnie and northern MN, but this one was a monster!
  15. I’ve had to replace two garage door openers and added one to a 3rd stall that never had one - all WiFi and would never go back. Yes, the button in the cars is the easiest, but as noted by the two posts above, I like it and the features it provides.
  16. There was an interesting research study I listened to the results of recently. Basically, what they have found in the last few elections is, if you are a D, you vote D, you just do it if you are on that side of the fence, no matter the candidate, no matter the issues. If you are R, you take some time, do a little research, and make an informed decision based on what you believe. I tend to agree - I know there will be those who disagree, that's fine, its not a hard line. But the general voting population follows this. I can come up with a number of things I don't agree with what either side does, and yes, I tend to lean R *most* of the time. But this kind of stuff is mind boggling to me. I get they (LGBTQWRXYZ) want their place in society, and not feel like they are discriminated against, but biology is biology. You either have or used to have male parts, or female parts. A male will physically out perform a female 99% of the time. Why are they allowing a tiny miniscule sector of the population tear down everything they worked so hard to get female rights? ESPECIALLY the females that pull that voting lever?? I just don't get it.
  17. Have we not learned ANYTHING from what the "news" tells us??
  18. We should be including the big three as well - they've all gone the route of "infotainment". Like they say on a podcast I like: Reporting isn't what it used to be.
  19. Did Chevy make a 67 crew cab? This was mine when I sold it about 5 years ago now… it was a cobbled together mess that I was done with.
  20. Minneapolis came to mind...
  21. We better inform the Twins: bats in public are bad.
  22. IRS whistleblower has told Congress that Hunter Biden probe is being mishandled - ABC News (go.com)
