My point of posting was how the body cam is the great arbiter and if the body cam doesn't have the ability to shut off the video we don't have to rely on either the citizens or officers interpretation of the events. Same with Neals video, we have a partial video of a situation already escalated and I would be the citizen and officer's stories would differ greatly. Without them, we get exactly what happened in this thread with people picking the side they find most agreeable.

The probability of a nuke being used is very low, so if what they want is the capability then lease it to them. All this development work and back and forth politically for a capability they will never likely use. Then in 5 years when that warhead and delivery system needs replacement they renew the lease and Russia who we trust to handle the fissile material does so properly and securely.

Nothing wrong with subsidizing technology development but Musk has been on the gravy train a long time and still can't manufacture at a profit. Volumes on the S and X are too low to recoup development and the model 3 which was billed as affordable to the common man also hasn't been able to produce at a volume needed to supply initial demand and has jumped in price and still sells at a loss. Musk made himself rich and probably had honest intentions in the beginning but got corrupted by Wall St.

I think Neal is right in that it's another chink in the prestige of the presidency. But I also think the spiral in that prestige has been happening since Clinton (probably before even) and each President since and the media or opposition has been all to happy to dig into new territory.

Agreed, far beyond his mandate. It would be refreshing if the Executive Branch actually did its job and had Mueller types around more often and actually dug into the dealings of our Govt.
