LOL I always assumed they got those done at the casino gift shop lol.

back in the mid 80s my bud had bought a k5 and the whole center section was the history of flight or some shit. shit brown top and bottom with a nose to tail center hand painted thing. this was pre air brush .

as bad as it was it was no match for a bud who got what we called the NASA edition Camaro silver with a all silver and gray  interior .berlinetta  if I remember. just a fucking slow turd

Na, just a guy with a small paint shop out by Alexandria.

I remember one of the farmers in the area had a mural of his farm painted on the sides of the truck, I want to say a cow on the hood, and a lineup of JD tractors on the tailgate.  Thinking about it, I wonder what happened to that truck.  I still see them around the area from time to time.

There is a rusty teal F-250 or 350 that is all airbrushed up and a topper to match.  Stacks coming out the topper and he pulls a gravity box with a rattle-canned to kind of match paint job.  I mean kind of match if you see it a block away in Todd County at midnite with no moon at 60mph kind of matching paint job.

I got a z71 after that ford biggest pile I have ever owned . I really should have bought the hold over that time the 04 were great that 05 total shit box

We've had most of the years of 1500's on the farm since the mid 90's.  They have all been pretty good except the first year they did that cruise on 4 cylinder thing.  08 maybe?  And the one from the 90's with the flaking paint and constant overheating issues.

Waldoch?

Use to see a few of those in my area.

This guy would put Waldoch's to shame.  All kinds of stuff.  Wildlife scenes, farms, airbrush the mural custom painted truck on the tailgate of the custom painted truck, fish scenes, etc.

I don't know about Iowa, but in the late 80's and into the mid-late 90's, airbrushing your truck or SUV was kind of a big thing around here.  There was a guy from the area that had his drag car doing a burnout airbrushed onto the side of his big ass semi trailer.

I always thought my old man should airbrush his sprint car onto the side of his trailer, but no dice.

Not sure if that was a thing or not around here.

Looking back on it, be lucky it wasn't.  Something like this would have been pretty basic.  I thought I might find some CL gold, but no dice.

Tomorrow is going to be a VERY bitter sweet day for me.  Gonna be trading in my '14 Raptor.  It's been a great truck for me and I've have a lot of fun with it. But after a couple days of driving my sons FX4 3.5 ecoboost, and seeing how much better the mileage is,  I realized it's time to move on and take that money I'll be pocketing and saving on gas and put it towards  a place up in the UP for hunting and snowmobiling like I've wanted to for many years.

Gonna be sad to see her go, but at the same time, I'm excited to pick up this bad boy tomorrow morning.
