Your delusions are the finest!  Rural folk will need to prove they bring something to the table too or, go it alone.  The biggest difference is many will (bring something) and/or be able to go alone.  The opposite is quite true with city dwellers.  Just pretty much worthless in any time of crisis.  Panic and wait for help is what they do best after they get some looting, burning, destroying and stealing things they don't need.  Dumb fucks.

Give all this a rest.  You are WAY out of your league on this shit.

dude he read a book

If you are rural and the more rural the better being prepared is drastically more simple because location is much of it.  The less you have to defend your resources the better chance at survival.

Being urban and having a rural "bugout" location assumes you can get there.

Traditionally the most successful humans at the art of survival in difficult situations are these that belong to a tribe. Ideally 50-75 members. Above 75 members internal struggles within the tribe create splinters. Below made them vulnerable to larger tribes. Lone nuts or small tribes rarely survived. That concept remains relevant in any setting.

Oh...I keep forgetting!  I guess I should stop bothering with history and all others with war experience knowing that the city is NOT the place to be during anything like this.  Also, I watch a lot of movies and it never seems to show anyone from rural areas jamming traffic to get into these shitholes so, Movies>Books.

Simply pointing out anthropological facts. There are some exceptions. If Yellowstone erupts, anyone living in the Midwest is fucked. You’ll be digging through 4 feet of ash for earthworms. If it’s nuclear, animals and plants will be radioactive in places. So tribes will no doubt be smaller.

Right but none of that pertains the current discussion.

Those are all black swan events. So it does pertain, dummy. If it’s internal, geopolitical conflicts (civil war) with a disruption of supply chains, America’s adversaries will take advantage of the situation while America swirls the drain. China, Russia, India, and Arab countries in the Middle East get stronger as the dollar collapses.

The brother in laws told their kids, if SHTF, get to uncle Matt’s.

Need some people to man the ramparts anyway

Clearly, "Uncle Matt" must live in the big city.  Everyone will be flocking there on the outset of fan hitting.
