Walz didn't do anything major to hurt their campaign.  No he wasn't as smooth as Vance but he did give some solid answers that the liberals and even center independents would like.  Nobody goes into these debates thinking I'm going to take from the other sides base.   

He looked like a bumbling buffoon on when called out on his non Tiananmen square answer.  Might have tipped the scales slightly in a Presidential debate but not a VP one.

Reality is the Harris campaign was very nervous about him imploding and he didn't. 

Did he ever get questioned on Biden's mental acuity?

Who Won the VP Debate, Vance or Walz? 

Republicans must be wondering what the outlook of this race might be had they nominated a younger, saner person, like Vance, capable of making sense for 90 consecutive minutes.

I don’t know why he didn’t just own up to the Tiananmen square thing. Just say you there that summer, misspoke on the month and move on.
