Many other western democracies are similar. We in the west have a better grasp at sorting out our differences, or not, without massive bloodshed. We've just gotten better at killing each other over the last century. Land, wealth, religion, oppression, ideology. Just a few of many reasons humans can find to kill each other. We have Biden and Trump because the Democrats are corrupt. The whole game that the beltway played around Hillary and her legal troubles is the first step in the road that lead to Trump. Voters said if Washington is going to pick who is prosecuted and who is not then we will send them a candidate who is above and impervious to shallow attacks. Trump is not a savior he is a body guard. The DNC knew Biden was in mental decline but they saw that as a advantage as he could be easily controlled.
