It is a book of stories from a multitude of people and religions that were then claimed by the Christians as their history. So iif you take that as a book from God you should at least do it justice and say God's as many of the stories were written about other mythical gods. As for Priests, they are also such good moral people that the molest little ones. Not sure how anyone can defend that behavior. It's sickening. Also true without priests and their like there would be no talk of Jesus.
