Selling influence...the emails prove it...and it's not Hunters crime, it's Joe's.

Right but Hunter is facing down a gun charge That will probably get broomed but he still seems to be on the hook for violation of foreign lobbying laws and of course the one item that is the fall of most criminal organizations tax evasion.

I wonder what would happen if you falsified the background check 4473 form...

So nothing as I suspected.

If not for double standards you’d have no standards at all. Pathetic liar.

“Anyone who buys a gun illegally with criminal intent by lying to the FBI on the NICS Background Check Form 4473 should be imprisoned just as the application states—up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.00.

That’s the law.  That’s the deterrent background check.

That’s EXACTLY the law Hunter Biden broke when he applied to buy a gun illegally.

Still waiting for the FBI to enforce the Background Check Form 4473 penalty...

Enforcing this law would deter some bad guys!

Trump stole top secret classified documents.

Any federal employee would have been arrested and charged with treason.

So yeah that’s one he should be done for.

There are many investigations from New York Georgia.

Rachel Maddow Lays Out Mitch McConnell's Economic Treason

Posted on Wed, Aug 14th, 2019 by Jason Easley
Rachel Maddow explained how Mitch McConnell has allowed Russia to gain an economic foothold in the US so that they can influence US politics from within.

Mitch McConnell committed economic treason

The short story here about Mitch McConnell is that he, more than anybody else in Washington, has blocked U.S. efforts to constrain or respond to Russia’s recent attacks. That’s why they’re calling him Moscow Mitch now. But in this particular instance, his state, an economically disadvantaged part of his state, got a $200 million investment from a kremlin-connected oligarch immediately after McConnell personally stepped in to make sure sanctions on that oligarch were dropped, despite his role in what happened to our election in 2016 and despite bipartisan support even from his own party for those sanctions. But don’t just look back at this. Look forward. Right? I mean, the FBI says Russia’s going to do to our election in

2020 what they did to it in 2016. No reason to expect 2020 is going to be any different. If Oleg Deripaska is one of the two or three oligarchs Putin looks to get his work done around the world, given what we know he did in 2016, should we expect Deripaska is going to be involved in Russia’s 2020 operations as well? You have to say the odds of that are better now than they were before Mitch Mcconnell sold off this corner of his state in his I mean, after all, before Mcconnell did what he did, Oleg Deripaska might have felt worried about participating in any Russian attack on us in 2020, right? He might have worried about those crippling sanctions that the U.S. Government put on him at least for a while after 2016. I mean, Mcconnell made sure those were gone, but maybe he’d worry if he did more in 2020, he would get those sanctions back or he’d be further sanctioned in his business activities. He might have had to worry about that before Mitch Mcconnell did what he did. But now, Oleg Deripaska’s business activities, the health of his business empire, that’s part and parcel of the hard-scrabble economy in one of Kentucky’s neediest economies.

This is a plant that’s over a billion dollars. 40% owned by the company of this kremlin-connect bed oligarch. You’re not going to be able to sanction him no matter what he does to our 2020 election or whatever else he does at all. It would strangle Kentucky in the process. There would be hundreds, if not thousands of American jobs riding on anything you did to that Russian guy’s company or, frankly, anything you did to bother him. He now holds all of those American jobs in his hand. The U.S. Government does anything to bother him, he can take them away at will. You can’t do anything to his company, not without him exerting that leverage over Kentucky in response. And that damage has already been done.

McConnell did this to cement the relationship between Russia and the Republican Party. Republicans can now claim that Russian business interests, like the one in Kentucky, can’t be sanctioned, because if they are, it will hurt American jobs.

If a future Democratic Congress and president would sanction a Russian oligarch with a business interest in the US, Republicans can use that to claim that Democrats are killing jobs. Moscow Mitch has gone beyond leaving the backdoor unlocked for Russia to interfere in US elections. He has rolled out the red carpet and given Putin a seat at the political table by inviting Russia in through the front door of the US economy.

McConnell’s actions are nothing less than economic treason.

Look those dam caravans...... Meanwhile Trump secretly tries to give Saudis nuke secrets. Treason....you bet.

FUCK TRUMP.

That Proposed U.S. Nuclear "Venture "in Saudi Arabia is treason, you know.

from the NYT article:

The export of American nuclear technology that could be used to create nuclear weapons is strictly controlled under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954. The act says that Congress must approve such exports, and at least one of the whistle-blowers claimed that officials involved ignored warnings about such legal requirements.

.........
despite repeated legal and ethical warnings that potential conflicts of interest around the plan could put American security at risk,

Trump and his minions were warned by the Nat. Security Council and other people it was illegal.;they ignored the warnings.

The plot to do so was started almost immediately after the election. It has continued to this day, fortunately with obstacles.
the company backing the nuclear plan, IP3 International, and its allies in the White House were working so closely that the company sent a draft memo to the former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, to circulate just days after the inauguration. Mr. Flynn had worked on the plan for IP3 during the Trump campaign and transition,

Kushner was bribed by one of the players:
"The Cummings report notes that one of the power plant manufacturers that could benefit from a nuclear deal, Westinghouse Electric, is a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management , the company that provided financial relief to the family of Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and adviser. "
Note the past tense: "provided" the money.

Tom Barrack was involved..always wondered why he suddenly showed up.

It said that Mr. Trump had appointed Mr. Barrack as a special representative to implement the plan, which it called “the Middle East Marshall Plan.” The memo also directed agencies to support Mr. Barrack’s efforts.

McConnell and other Republicans KNEW, and said nothing.
They KNEW it was a violation of National Security, yet went along.
Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland, chairman of the Oversight Committee, first disclosed claims brought to him by one of the whistle-blowers in November 2017, and called on the committee’s Republican chairman at the time to further scrutinize them. The Republicans did not touch it,

No wonder Trump ignored Khashoggi's death.

As of last week, Trump was still working on the plan.
Mr. Trump met with nuclear industry executives at the White House last week to discuss expanding their presence internationally, including in the Middle East. Bloomberg reported that the session was organized by Jack Keane, a retired four-star Army general and one of the founders of IP3 International.

UPDATE:
Lara Trump's brother has a job "advising" the Department of Energy despite having no energy background or experience.
DOE controls our nuclear arsenal, power plants and technology.
AND, who is head of DOE?
all together now....Rick Perry.

‘That’s the definition of treason’: Democratic lawmaker levels serious charge against Trump administration

SARAH K. BURRIS

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) used the word “treason” when describing Gen. Michael Flynn’s actions. However, his concern is not Flynn but the role the president played in these series of Russian scandals.

“The bigger problem, the scandal of the century, not the scandal of the week, is this ongoing relationship with Russia,” the former Marine told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Tuesday. “There is no question it’s the unequivocal conclusion of all our intelligence agencies that Russia wanted Donald Trump to be elected president. Either that’s just because they think Trump is Putin’s buddy and he is going to do his bidding or because they have material they can use against the administration. We don’t need to just know what Flynn knew or when his associates in the White House knew, we need to know what Russia knows and what they still hold over the heads of the people in the White House.”

Moulton said he doesn’t believe anything in Washington happens in a vacuum, whether it’s a meeting or a phone call.

“Let’s not lose perspective on exactly who we’re talking about here,” he continued. “If members of the administration are essentially conspiring with Russia, either through the campaign earlier, now than the — look, Wolf, that’s the definition of treason. This is a very, very serious affair. We all have to understand what’s going on with Michael Flynn, but we can’t let this little scandal or perhaps a big scandal at the moment let us lose sight of the much bigger scandal, which is what is the overall connection between Russia and the Trump administration.”
