F35 showed up at the July 3rd airshow.   Very cool however I thought the F18 there was just as if not more impressive with the high speed maneuvers it was doing.

I don’t want to overplay it. The show was good. A lot of great people. Just not the assortment of military hardware that I like to see. It was overshadowed by the death of a past and long time EAA president that occurred opening day. His father was one of early pioneers.

You know his last name? The EAA Museum used to be very close to where I lived, I knew the folks there.

Tom Poberenzy. I think i got the spelling correct.

Yes, that's the family I knew back in the 1960's, the EAA was in Franklin at the time, I lived in Muskego just about 4-5 miles from the EAA, they lived on Woods Rd. I traded a 1959 Pontiac for a '57 Chevy from their son.

Oh, sorry, guess the guys name was Frank Brugger.

The A10's train in the White Mountains of NH quite often. It's neat to see them fly over just above the tree canopy. Very cool plane.

Also over the western maine mountains. They buzz over the lake and mountains quite often. :bc:
