anything special about this @Doug?

$50 bid currently, no reserve

It's the Limited edition so all the chrome and pin stripping where part of the LE.  Actually a fairly common sled but the seats on these if in good condition are highly desirable and not cheap.  No body is reproducing them that I know of probably because of the scrolling in the seat.  To bad the tank cover has the typical rope burns from the recoil.

Overall the sled looks in nice shape that it would be a nice driver at the right price.

I have a 1985 when they called the chrome version a SE and was the last year of the non-tappered tunnel.  Mine has a SLP trail version 700 reed valve motor.

Nice find and very desirable sled.  Been watching the 250 on the Hansen's auction currently at $5500.  Prices are crazy on some of the sleds in that auction.

it's nothing I'm interested in purchasing, but maybe someone else here would be.  sleds don't come up too often on there.

Seeing these prices is crazy I won't be bidding on anything.  The 245 RV is another sled at $16750.

Have a 1994 XCR 600 with around 300 original miles and a 1990-1/2 RXL with around 900 miles.  Tempting to throw those out for sale after seeing these prices.

I’ve seen some other sleds on other sites that would probably double in price on this auction site.  I just don’t get it.  But hey, if someone is willing to throw stupid money at these just to sit on them, good for them.

Looking closer think the 78 RV Blizzard may be my old sled from the 80's.  I got hit in the back and bent the tunnel enclosure a little and put a comet clutch on.  The sled in the pics you can see where they straightened the tunnel enclosure right where I got hit and it has a comet clutch.

You may be better off.  Talked to some guys that went to the public viewing and all the high dollar sleds were in a section that was off limits for public view.  When asking the guy why they were off limits they never got a straight answer.  Also asked about documentation on some of these sleds and he would provide that at the final sale.  Seemed shady on details from what they said.

Just fired my 340 for the first time today needing to find a good photographer for a birth announcement.

This thing is going to be a riot. Fuel pumps are shot , I have carbides from dad and grandpas oval days that are far too aggressive on it so some changes are in route. 5500 engagement and I can tell it will be a screamer when I get it finished up.

edit : not sure why they didnt attach the first time , or way they are now hazy on here

Trying to find a cheap cover for the Enticer.  You'd think I could find one from the 70's or 80's for like $50, hell, even a generic one from the 90's.

Nothing reasonable and/or close.
