It is some amazing stuff, I had some shots years back in my feet for Plantar Fascitis. Definitely helped for a bit, had to have it done multiple times and then it just wouldn't work anymore. I guess you build up an immunity to it after repeated use..

MRI showed only inflammation and impingement. No tears or ligament damage. No arthritis. I have no idea what I did.

I think they can only do cortisone a certain amount of times before it actually causes joint damage..... I rely on powdered gelatin and another product to relieve joint inflammation

Knock on wood, all those years of racing mx, my shoulders are mint.  Knees and feet are another story.  Knees are loose.  I also have a neuropathy condition, non diabetic related, just seems like no cure.  Gabapentin barely touches it. Getting old.  Yay.

Interesting, what are you doing to help it?

I had the same issue with the MRI, I'm claustrophobic as hell, had to hit the panic button a couple times before I settled down and found my happy place.

Have you tried opiates?  They work awesome!

my doctor’s advice would be “yeah, you are old, that’s what happens. “

It's natural everybody does it....admittedly with slightly less vigor.

I had an injection in my knee three years ago. Inflammation formed a Baker cyst on the backside. One injection cleared everything up. I've had no problems with the knee since. Hopefully this will be a repeat.

My goal is to get back to doing kettlebell cleans on that side.

It has a diminishing effect for sure. If you haven't ever tried shockwave treatments find a horse trainer or horse vet that has one a couple of people tried it and said it worked great.

A combination of powdered gelatin, omega 3 fish oil, and this stuff below: glyco plus....a little pricey but often at half price......this combo has done wonders for my knees.... haven't needed a cortisone shot in over 4 years now.
